Visiting/Settling Mauritius

Hi,

I'm looking for friends and contacts in Mauritius. I'm hoping to be able to relocate somewhere for at least part of the year (I'm English, current living in England) and although I've not visited Mauritius yet, from what I know it sounds very appealing. Any contact, practical tips etc. would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

P.S. I run a small internet based business so internet access/uninterupted electricity supply would be very important to me.
