honeymoon in mauritius

hello to all! I am from malta and am seriously thinking of coming to mauritius for our honeymoon. I would like to ask about the weather and the temperature of the sea in the beginning of July. Would it be too cold to swim? We are used to mediterranean summers.Also I am imagining romentic dinners by the pool/sea and would not like to be wearing big jackets for those occasions. Sorry if its long ,but i woul really love to come!!!

You know .. mostly it depends on the region , the east , the west will be more window in relation to the North , which will be better.... than these other region.

You wont be wearing big jackets. July is the start of winter. Yet in the north you can swim.

Comparatively to Mediteranean , it will be approximately the same temperature .

the sea temp will be round 25 degrees.

Hi Kayssaven ! Thanks for your reply ,we were thinking about the merville or other hotels in the north west . Could you please tell me wether it would be ok or should we try find other hotels in the north only. sorry to bother you !!!
