Living in Malawi

Hi again,
as I wrote in my last message I will be travelling through Malawi. I am still looking for a place to stay in Africa. I'm thinking of either Malawi, Zimbabwe or Namibia.
Is it possible to settle im Malawi? I'd love to because of the beautiful lake.
