The Simon's Town Waterfront Centre has all the sophistication that you can hope for, while still maintaining the town’s seaside atmosphere. A variety of speciality shops, with a range of products, are within easy reach of the hotel and the town is rapidly gaining a reputation as the culinary capital on the Cape Point Route.

Things to do
Take a leisurely stroll to nearby Boulders Beach where over a thousand penguins live in the Penguin Colony. The Colony, started by the penguins themselves, is unique in that they have voluntarily inhabited suburbia and a public bathing space. Alternatively, a ten minute drive will take you to the world famous Cape Point Nature Reserve, the most southwesterly point of Africa, boasting one of the highest sea cliffs in the world – 249m above sea level!
All tastes are catered for in a variety of restaurants offering a wide selection of culinary delights. Enjoy a romantic candlelit dinner for two complemented by a bottle of the finest Cape wines. Or invite a group of friends or colleagues for a delicious meal of fish and chips accompanied by a pint of beer or freshly squeezed fruit juice.
On a warm summer’s morning, enjoy a breakfast fit for royalty. Listen to the sounds of the harbour coming to life, waves lapping at your feet and the gulls calling as you decide what sights to take in.
Some of the excellent restaurants in and around the Quayside Waterfront Centre include Bertha's, Bon Appetit (one of the Top 100 in South Africa), the Harbour View Coffee Shop and The Salty Sea Dog.
