Location

Kloof enjoys one of the healthier climates, a mere 20 minutes out of the humidity of Durban. Only 30 minutes drive from either the Airport, North or South coast, and 15 minutes westerly, places you in the heart of the magnificent Valley of a 1000 hills. All of the KwaZulu Natal major centres and top tourist destinations are very accessible. You are within 2½ hours easy drive of the majestic Drakensberg Mountain Resorts and Northern Natal's Game Parks, on the door step of the Midlands Meander, 1000 Hills Experience, Wildlife parks as well as the fabulous "Blue Flag" beaches that embrace the warm waters of the Indian Ocean.

For those on business, Stoneybrae is only 10 minutes from the commercial centres of Hammarsdale and Pinetown, which includes Westmead and New Germany and only 20 minutes from Durban CBD. The picturesque village of Kloof is some 550m above sea level and offers a good selection of restaurants and pubs, a gym, numerous shops, a golf course and wonderful nature trails. The climate, cooler than Durban, is considered to be one of the best in the world.

Accommodation

Stoneybrae accommodation comprises two tastefully decorated double rooms with en-suite shower facilities, one comprising its own private balcony. We also offer two executive suites which both have en suite bathrooms and private balconies with breathtaking views. Wi-Fi internet is available throughout the lodge. Satellite TV and MNET is also available in the guest lounge.

Breakfasts cater for both the health conscious, as well as the indulgent offering freshly home-baked croissants, health bread or muffins, seasonal fruits, cereal and homemade yoghurt as well as the traditional full English or Continental breakfast. Light meals are also available on request.

The sparkling swimming pool is set in the tranquil garden, surrounded by an indigenous forest where you can soak up the sun enjoying the view, explore the beautiful grounds, relax at the pool or wonder through the forest at leisure.

How To Find Us

From Durban take N3 Johannesburg, then take exit 17 M13 Pinetown. Take the exit 22 and turn right over the motorway and right at the traffic circle, keep right and get back on to the M13 Durban. Continue exactly 1km(keep left) and turn left into Jameson Terrace(sharp hairpin bend) Stoneybrae is situated at the end of the road on the right hand side with visible signage.
