'Sunrise' room
Open your tall white shutters for a sea breeze look over your wrought iron balcony and set your eyes on the views of Robben Island surrounded by the majestic Atlantic Ocean. Within this pleasant experience you have twin beds for the singles or double, with ample cupboard space, Oregon pine wood floors, along with a classic Victorian walk-in bathroom with shower and fresh towels. Tea and coffee provided in the room as well as television, wireless access, hairdryer and toiletries.
'Garden' room
Is distinguished by the private terrace with a stone Victorian table in the rock garden. This room offers a queen bed, bath and handheld shower, and boasts unique Coir carpeting all around. This room is ideal for a couple to enjoy personal breakfasts in your pyjamas, catch some early sun or simply gaze at the stars with a glass of wine on a pleasant evening. Tea, coffee, television, wireless access, hairdryer and toiletries again included.
'Daybreak' room
Is the perfect room for the get-up-and-go personality, who wants to meet the Cape's beauty with a brisk start and a warm breakfast in the dining corner. This cosy room hosts a wrought iron queen bed laced with fresh linen resting upon classic Victorian style Oregon pine floors. The en-suite bathroom allows you the necessity of freshening up after and/or before your day's activities. There is plenty of cupboard space for luggage and tea and coffee in the room as well as a television, fans/heaters, wireless access hairdryer and toiletries.
'Wine Cellar' self-catering apartment
Is a very stylish and modern self-contained apartment with Crete stone walls and an entrance surrounded by a wild lavender garden. Upon entering your unique and minimalist home for the duration of your stay, you are welcomed by the warm feel of terracotta tiles, wooden kitchen table and an old-fashioned bathtub and copper shower head. Walk up a simple step into your romantic den of slumber where dreams of relaxations and no responsibilities enter your mind. Enjoy your room of creative simplicity. Hairdryer, television, DVD, fans/heaters as well a compliment of condiments are provided.
'Sea Loft' room
Imagine being on the 3rd floor of the house overlooking Robben Island and the Atlantic Ocean, your own false balcony open to the morning bustle of the Ocean. This room offers fantastic views and has great space; the en-suite bathroom is modern and bright with a two person shower, unique shower tiles and a large sandstone vanity with separate toilet. They are twin beds with funky headboards, which can be made comfortably into a king with percale linen all resting on an original wooden floor. Tea and coffee tray, air-conditioning, LCD TV, wireless internet access, hairdryers and toiletries provided.
'Mountain Loft' room
This suite offers all the luxury you would expect from a 4 star room. This 40 sq. metre room, situated on the 3rd floor, offers a queen bed with funky head board, lightly washed wooden floors which gently flow into large tiles that form the bathroom. Open plan room with separate shower and toilet. A large bathtub stands in centre of the room and makes for a wonderful way to soak away a busy day. The room is bright and spacious with four windows looking back over Signal Hill. Truly a relaxed and private experience. Tea and coffee tray, air-conditioning, LCD TV, wireless internet access, hairdryers and toiletries provided.
Green Point is a sought after holiday area in a location that makes walking easy and pleasurable with loads to see. We have Robben Island in front of us and Signal Hill behind, with the sound of the Noon Gun going off. The cultural area of Bo Kaap is within minutes, an energetic community and colourful smells and buildings to photograph.
The V&A Waterfront is close enough for an evening stroll along the Promenade, with cafes and restaurants on your right and the Mouille Point lighthouse and the crashing sea on your left. We are away from the hustle and bustle of the Main Road, with the antics of a small neighbourhood within Cheviot Place; due to the church, school and children and dogs roaming the street, you are bound to fall in love with it.
From the airport:
Take the N2 from the airport and head towards town. Take the Strand Street turn off (left) and head on Strand up town and towards Signal Hill, Strand runs up right through town and then heads up toward Sea Point and over the hill. The road will become High Level. You will pass approximately 5 roads on your right hand side, 2 traffic lights and 1 pedestrian light. Take Clyde Road right and then 1st right into Cheviot Place, we are 400m down on the right hand side, number 18.
From the N1:
From the N1 you follow the signs into Cape Town. As you enter the city limits you should have the sea on your right and the mountain and city on your left. Keep in the right hand lane as you want to take the higher road. You will then see the CTICC (convention centre) on your left hand side, harbour on the right. At the traffic lights you continue straight, (Lower Buitengracht Str.) through several traffic lights until you reach Strand Street/High Level. Turn right here and head up High Level road, which heads up toward Sea Point and over the hill. You will pass approximately 5 roads on your right hand side, 2 traffic lights and 1 pedestrian light. Take Clyde Street right and then 1st right into Cheviot Place, we are 400m down on the right hand side, number 18.
