Set in the peaceful country of The Gambia, West Africa, The Gunjur Project is an eco friendly lodge situated in the quiet village of Gunjur. The lodge has 6 double / family rooms, swimming pool, bantabar and restaurant. The size of this lodge is what makes it so unique and person centred. The restaurant offers a good range of Gambian & European dishes.

The Lodge works alongside with the local community and contributes to the local economy by providing and supporting employment and sponsorship schemes, purchasing locally grown organic produce, selling carvings and souvenirs for local crafts people and arranging programmes at the lodge performed by local talented people.

The lodge is situated 800 metres from the Atlantic ocean with an endless sandy beach. On these golden sands you will find Kaira Kunda beach bar & restaurant, a friendly place where you can relax and unwind in this peaceful and tranquil place.

We are a 40 minutes drive from Banjul Airport. We are situated on the red road towards Gunjur Beach.

Pricing Details

A single room at the lodge is D900 per night . Double room D1500 per night. Family room D1800 - D2100 depending on numbers in room. These prices are inclusive of breakfast.
