Featuring a garden and sun terrace, Anmut Hostel is located at Usambara mountains in Lushoto District. Just 328 yards you'll find Late German Rest house built far back in 1880's. Magamba Rainforest is 0.4 miles from the property.   The remoteness of our property offers an ideal retreat for travelers who seek a place away from hustle and bustle of modern life at urban area. The area is dominated with calm weather, lush forestry, marvelous escarpments, rare birds and colobus monkeys, some occasions you might see unexpected visitors (birds) knocking at your window mirror, an awesome experience.   Anmut Hostel also includes a hot spring bath. Guests can enjoy a meal at the on-site restaurant, followed by a drink at the bar.   You can play pool at the property, and bike/car rental is available, All your Usambara mountains excursions can be arranged by Scorpion Tours Ltd located on site. Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) to Lushoto- 295km

There several passenger buses travelling direct from Dar es
Salaam/Arusha and Moshi to Lushoto but you can also opt to
board any bus from either Dar es Salaam, Moshi or Arusha and
drop off at Mombo town then take min bus (famously called
daladala, Noah or coaster) up to Lushoto town 32km charging
Tsh 3,000 per person. Once you reach at Lushoto bus terminal
our driver will meet you there and transfer you to Anmut Hostel.

Our room rates depend on occupation and always include a truly generous breakfast buffet.

Anmut has three types of bedroomrooms both self contained.

1) Private rooms with Double bed - $26
2) Twin bedrooms (2 beds in each rooms) - $18pp
3) Dormitory rooms with 4 Decker (8 guests per room) - $12pp
