Description

Lake Chahafi resort is well known for its unique water bird species and its proximity to the Mountain Gorillas in Mgahinga Gorilla, Park Volcanoes in Rwanda  as well as the Bwindi impenetrable National  park. We offer a large campsite where guests can pitch their own tents with clean ablution facilities

The resort has a well stocked main open air bar and a mini bar with lake and Muhabura volcanoe views and a terraced bar with a fireplace to compliment the chilly evenings. There is a restaurant with local and continental dishes. While here you can also try fresh catch of Mirror carp and cray fish from the lake. Guests can relax and sun bath at the swimming pier. We have a well mantained garden for camping with fire making facilities and secure and ample parking space is guaranteed.

Lake Chahafi Resort is tucked away from Kisoro town in the extreme south western Uganda  with an idyllic backdrop of the Magnificent Muhabura volcano. Lake Chahafi is undeniably beautiful and is sorrounded by a lush papyrus vegetation in every corner that is home to many bird species. While here you will experience Africas stunning sunsets.

How To Find Us

From Kisoro town take Kisoro Kyanika road and branch on your left at Muganza Juction on a dirt road for about six kilometres. Signage to be provided.
