Description
Chimango Lodge in Salima, Malawi is a small lodge with 13 self contained rooms. The lodge is new but is already no 1 preferred accommodation for visitors to Salima. Situated at the centre of Salima Town, only 20kms to Lake Malawi, the third largest freshwater lake in Africa.
Chimango Lodge combines executive accommodation and wonderful service, in a quiet secure private environment. It is the first of its kind in Salima and it is unique in all respects.
Our rooms are all ensuite, air-conditioned, of hotel standard and very spacious and have fully subscribed DSTV and MBC TV, with complimentary tea/coffee. At only US$20 per night, inclusive of breakfast, our room rates are very competitive. Special long term rates can also be arranged.
Full English breakfast is served at our guests’ convenient time.
We also provide meals on request at very reasonable prices. However, our guests are free to prepare their own meals if they are able and willing to do so at very minimal charges.
The workers are very well trained and polite.

The lodge is situated in Salima, Malawi right at
the town centre, near the Railway Station, opposite
Iponga Cotton Ginnery, off the road that passes by
the Post Office.
