Description

Chibububo Lodge nestles on the beach some 3 kilometres south of Vilanculos town with attractive wooden self-catering

6/8 bed chalets and one large 28 bed bungalow built on stilts two metres above the ground. The tops of the local thatched roofs leave a space for air circulation making a cool and pleasant dwelling.T

The chalets have a magnificent view across the beach to the distant islands of the Bazaruto Archipelago.

Each chalet has three bedrooms, one en suite and two sharing a bathroom. A further two beds are in the living room and use a separate visitor bathroom, giving the chalet a capability of sleeping up to eight people comfortably. Each bed has a mosquito net and each room has a fan.

Wide doors open onto an ample verandah to watch the Dhows sailing by on cool evening breeze.

The lodge has a swimming pool, bar and restaurant and barbeque and the local dishes conjured up by the chef are very popular with visitors.

Each Beach Chalet has full self-catering facilities, fridge, freezer, undercover parking, daily housekeeping.
