Hi! I have bought some land in marrakech and i need a building company here in morocco to build for me my house. I need a structured company with engineers who can deliver the construction with quality and respect of time delays. Do you know of any serious building company i can contact? I want to buid a villa house with a pool.

Hi there I am sorry I cant help with a builder? for your Land - but I wondered if you could help, we too are looking at buying land to build a house on in Morocco and wondered if you had could pass us any good agents details and the rough costs for land, we'd like to build a 3 bed villa with own pool etc, you never know if you help, one builder cold build the two ?

I would like to build myself a villa with pool on land on the outskirts of Marrakech. I would like to know roughly how much it would cost to build a 4 bedroom house with 2 salons if I already own the land. I am hoping to get started in January. Please ask me any questions you may feel are relevant

Single property builds are quite complicated in Morocco, my advice is to be on site as often as you can, whoever you have selected as builder. I have seen many building sites and even if the craftmanship is good, levels of finish are not always to expectation.

We also went over with the idea to build for ourselves, once I realised that project managing the build would require a lot of travelling and time, I decided for option two.

Why not co-build with a number of other people and project manage the site for them? That way we put the cost down and moreover there is a constant presence in Morocco to project manage the entire development.

So why not co-buy land and co-build on it, all this can be done securely by setting up a development company in which all of us would be shareholders.
