Comment: | I am very happy to write a paragraph summing up our awesome, amazing trip to Kenya! In January I began the planning for leading a group of 10 on a trip to Kenya this summer. None of us had ever been to Africa before, and had many concerns about health, safety, food, etc! I did some web searching, and made some general inquiries of many websites. The Africa Guide website turned out to be so very helpful! Serah responded with the most complete itinerary suggestions, plus detailed estimates of costs and seemed to be very professional, so I selected her company to work with us. I cannot tell you what a delight it was to work with Serah and her team! She answered all our questions, was quick to answer e-mails, made some adjustments and changes efficiently and with never a complaint! The personal service was unexpected and gave me a real sense of confidence that all would be well! The trip went flawlessly; the safari experience was unbelievable in the numbers of animals seen; our drivers George and David were absolutely wonderful, and now I am planning another trip in July 2007 with the help of my new friends. I would encourage everyone to put aside any fears and experience the wonderful, kind people and incredible landscape of Kenya, with the help of this outstanding travel company. |

Comment: | Just a quick note to let you know that we were very happy with the whole thing (except the disgraceful road from Nairobi to Narok, of course). Everything else was as excellent as could be expected - and George is the nicest and most knowledgeable game driver we have met! We'll certainly be recommending your services to others. |

Comment: | Everything was wonderful. The tour operator did everything they promised and more. Our accommodations were wonderful and our driver/guide in Kenya was great...he was kind, knowledgeable, and we felt well taken care of. We all agreed that we received excellent value for the cost of our trip and I would absolutely recommend this operator and would definitely use them again on any trips to that region of the world. |

Comment: | We had a wonderful trip to Africa and I can't say enough good things about Serah! We planned our trip very last minute and she really jumped through hoops to get us a great itinerary and into all of the accommodations that we wanted. The camp in Amboseli was a highlight of the trip, beautiful accommodations, exquisite common areas, great food and service. We also thought the camp in Samburu was wonderful, we loved our treehouse tent, very private and the food there was probably the best of the trip. Surprisingly, the camp in the Mara, is not nearly as good. they try though with the service... It just not as well laid out. the tents are not as private, the restaurant is not as charming and the food wasvery hit or miss at dinner. We also spent one night in Nakuru which was fine, the game very easy to see and one night at Sweetwater's, which was just ok ( I wouldn't reccomend it.) We loved our driver, George, he was courteous, professional and informative. He was always cheerful and easygoing which made the travelling between parks nice as some of the drives were a little long. We were with him on all drives except in the Masai Mara, which we flew to from Samburu (which I highly reccomend to save time.) The guides at the camp in the Mara were wonderful, but we missed our George! All in all it was a great trip. we saw a lot of game, especially since it wasn't during migration but we also didn;t see a lot of tourists. I would reccomend this operator to anyone going over to East Africa. Serah is a real professional and I trust her implicitly. The only part of our trip that I wouldn't do again is go to Zanzibar. Ras Nungwi is a very overrated and overpriced resort, especially since it't supposed to be one of the best if not the best on the island. The Serena Inn, on the other hand, was lovely.... but Stonetown is very run down and unattractive and not the preserved architectural wonder that the guidebooks say it is.. The bottom line is that Zanzibar is very overpriced for what you get. For the amount of money it cost to go there, I bet the coast of Mombassa or Lamu would offer better options for people that want a beach excursion after a safari....and of course there is always the Seychelles. Anyhow, if you have any questions or need anything further, please let me know... Please send Serah my regards, I will contact her and send her some photos soon!!! |

Comment: | We had a fabulous trip. There was an initial mix-up on picking us up at our hotel but Serah, at the main office, and all her staff were very good at resolving the problem and and getting everything back on track. We had a terrific guide who was very attentive to our needs and very knowledgable about the Masai Mara and all the animals. We would recommend the company to anyone. |

Comment: | Had a wonderful safari. The operator was great at organizing our whole trip. Having your own private minibus and driver/guide makes all the difference, you control the pace, when you want to stop, what you want to see, etc. We never thought we'd get so close to animals, seeing a baby wilderbeast trying to stand, only minutes old, what an experience! The ballon safari over the Mara is a must, also walking alone amoung Giraffe on Crescent Island, my husband was in heaven. Our driver was really good and very informative. Navigating 'roads' in Africa takes an expert. I would highly recommend this company you're taken care of from the moment you arrive until, sadly, you step back on the plane for home. Thank-you Sereh, Chris, Ruth, Ben for a wonderful vacation. |

Comment: | We had a great time during the safari. It was very well organised by Serah. She was very helpfull and arranged a pick-up from the airport for free. During the safari we were overwhelmed by our helpfull driver Chris. We stayed at the Mara Sopa lodge which had very good facilities and food. Our children remember the special evening 31th Dec and the attention of the guide. We have seen very much wildlife and were excited by the scenery. Chris showed us around and was a part of our family that time. We visited also a masai village with all kind of ceremonies. Really nice for the children. We enjoyed this safari very much. We really recommend this safari and company! kind regards, Joost |

Comment: | We had a wonderful trip in Kenya. Serah, whom we dealt with via email for the arrangements, was very helpful and responsive. Their itinerary was clear and we stuck to it throughout the trip. The guide, David was cheerful and knowledgeable and a pleasure to travel with. Peter, the cook, was friendly and accommodating as well as a good cook. Our trip was exactly as we had requested and had all the elements of the profile that I filled out. We were very pleased and would use your service again if we traveled to Kenya in the future. The only comment I would add for future travelers is that perhaps a list of possible items to bring oneself should be supplied by the safari organizers for example - all additional drinks and road snacks are the traveler's responsibility for a trip such as we planed. A list of necessary items like toilet paper, hand wipes, etc would be very helpful for the first time Kenyan traveler. |

Comment: | We are finished our safari trip in September 2005 and it was absolutely wonderful. Serah, made the necessary arrangements and managed to get us into the required Lodges. Many thanks for her help. She is a sweet lady and patience in answering all our questions. We were able to meet her on the way out. Julius, our guide/driver was great. We cannot say enough good things about him. He was very helpful, courteous and very professional. Although the drives/distances between some of the parks were long, he was quite competent during the game drives and an extremely safe and attentive driver on the roads. Moreover, we particularly appreciated his ability to spot animals from miles away that we're not sure anyone else could see. He was able to show us more than just the “big five”. Especially we could see the Cheetah in the Masai Mara NR at the last moment of our game drive. Just a fine gentleman and perfect guide…. bravo! We can’t imagine this experience could be any better than the one we had. Rest assured that we will recommend, without hesitation, to any friends wishing to go to Kenya that they make their arrangements through this operator. And, if at all possible, they should request Julius as guide/driver. Again, our sincerest appreciation for making our dream come true. |

Comment: | We enjoyed the safari and saw lots of animals. The guide David and our cook Francis were very knowledgable and helpful. However we were not very impressed with the Mara Springs Camp it was a bit of a way from the Park, had the most uncomfortable beds I have ever come across and had problems with their generator and water supply on the last day. Having said that we still enjoyed it and the camp was not the fault of the tour operator Thanks for your help |
Trip Operators Response:
We took note, with regret, the issues brought up and which were confirmed by our staff too, and have since taken it up with the management of the camp. I am happy to say that we have been promised that something is being done about the beds and the generator too. We will certainly be following this up, as we use the camp a lot for our camping safaris. |

Comment: | I am not the traveler, I am the booking Agent who arranged the vacation through this operator. I will tell you that they had an awesome experience from the get-go. I will use and highly reccomend their safari's any day of the year. The personalized service from the meet and greet at the airport to the ever-so-knowledgeable safari guide ... who could see things 2 miles in front of him, it seemed to my clients, made for a truly unforgettable experience. thank you for following up. |

Comment: | Our trip went like clockwork. We did a 3 week trip and visited Nairobi,Amboseli, Masai Mara,Aberdare Country Club and the Ark, Lake Nakuru, Sweetwaters and spent our final week at Mombasa from where we went to Shimba Hills overnight. We travelled by both air and road and Serah put together an excellent itinerary for us which was customised for the two of us. We were really looked after by all the staff. All the hotels and lodges were outstanding, and the food was first class. The only hotel we didn't like was Tree Hotel at Shimba but we gave feedback to the Mombassa rep who took it up with the hotel. It was my Birthday whilst on Safari and a cake and presents were arranged by the tour operator! Ours was an intensive trip with an extensive programme which exceeded our expectations. I can honestly recommend this operator and hope to use them next year when we go to Tanzania. |

Comment: | I would be honored to provide you with a summarizing paragraph about our vacation. It was the best experience of my life. We have just returned from the most incredible vacation ever. The two of us are real animal enthusiasts and decided to visit Kenya and Tanzania for a spring holiday. We set up our safari out of Nairobi over the internet. This proved to be a very good move. Serah helped to set our travels up and she made sure that we got to see all the sights that we inquired about. She was tireless in her correspondence with me, for several months we tweaked the itinerary to incorporate all the main east African highlights. Our guides in both countries were friendly and informative, and helped to make this adventure so memorable. We were comfortably immersed in the wildlife and culture of Africa. Every day was a wondrous new experience that allowed us to see all the wildlife and vistas I had read about since childhood. The people of Africa are wonderful hosts and everything was so perfect. I only wish I could afford to go back every year. For the rest of my life I do not expect to visit such an incredible place, it was the experience of a lifetime. |

Comment: | Zoe and I had an outstanding trip to Africa. The tour operator made all the arrangements for a safari which included Amboseli in Kenya and Lake Manyara, the Serengeti, Olduvai and Ngorongoro in Tanzania. Every aspect of the trip was marvelous. There was a minibus for the two of us in Kenya and a jeep in Tanzania. We had a knowledgeable and friendly driver (Michael) in Kenay and another knowledgeable and friendly driver from Leopard Tours (Mtake) in Tanzania. All the lodges and tents we stayed in were remarkable. Due to the relatively late planning of the trip, we ended up spending Christmas Eve at Migration Camp. It was a really long drive, but surprisingly turned out to be the highlight. Everything on the trip went very smoothly. The tour operator was completely professional and quite patient in answering all my questions by email beforehand. And she took care of small arrangements which we really appreciated, such as being met at Nairobi airport when we arrived at 10:30 PM and being escorted a few days later through passport control into Tanzania. All in all, it was a fantastic adventure. Africa was great. The people were great. The animals were great. And I would highly recommend this operator. |

Comment: | Hello Africa Guide - We did just complete a safari with which I found thru your excellent website. From the very first reply to my enquiry Serah was warm, welcoming and the soul of efficiency. I cannot tell you how many, many questions we asked all of which were answered promptly and with extreme patience. And her recommendations were bang on - like leaving the Masaai Mara for last, since that would leave more time for the migrating wildebeest to get there. Thanks to her, and the patience and skill of her driver/guide Julius, I now have video of a wildebeest crossing that would do National Geographic proud. All her arrangements went like clockwork. From our arduous Kili climb to the safari in Tanzania and Kenya there were absolutely no hitches. People met us at airports. The hotels and lodges were superb, and all our drivers skilled and knowledgable. Having a few spare days after our safari ended we asked Serah to arrange a little R&R on Zanzibar. This she did, at short notice, booking us into 2 fabulous resorts - a wonderful end to a glorious holiday. I would not hesitate to recommend your website, and Serah to anyone wishing to holiday in East Africa. Cheryl Lala Trinidad & Tobago WI |

Comment: | We found your website when we were looking for a map of Africa on google.com. It was extremely easy to use and we received emails from prospective tour companies the next day. We decided to sign up for the longest tour of Kenya and Tanzania. I have never bought or ordered anything online and was a bit nervous but Serah from the safari company was able to provide references and the Africa Guide Web Site was also able to provide references for the company. Being an active couple we were worried that there was not enough activity planned in the itinerary but Serah created a new itinerary and emailed it to us the very next day. Once we arrived in Nairobi, Micheal was there to pick us up and deliver us to their office. My husband and I had an amazing time on our safari. The accommadations were great, the food and service was excellent and the wildlife was unbelievable. We were able to see all the animals including the black rhino, which is very difficult to find, in our 15 day trip. My favorite was the giraffes, especially on Crescent Island near Lake Naivasha, and my husband's favorite was the Leopards, especially in Maasai Mara where we found a leopard protecting his meal. I would recommend this trip to anyone. |
