I just got back from Marrakesh and had a great time. If you are planning on going to Marrakesh soon or interested in going here's a video I made while I was there. I just got back from Marrakesh. The Train from Tangier to Marrakesh 1 way 1st class will cost you around $30 you can take the last train out which leaves around 9:30 and arrives around 7 in the morning.The faster boat (NAUTAS) from Algeciras to Tangier is about 1 and 1/2hrs and cost around 60 euros round trip.When you arrive at Marrakesh stay at the Hotel Ali it's about $27. Has anyone stayed over at "Hotel Ali" located in Marrakech? It's cheap so i was just wondering if it's clean safe and quiet since it's so near Djemaa el fna? I'll be flying to Madrid in Jan. I was thinking of taking the ferry into Morroco. I would like to vist Tangier, Marrakesh and Agadir or anything else you can recommend. I was thinking of spending a few days in that area maybe 4 or 5. Just wondering if i should take a train bus or maybe rent a car to get from one place to another. How far apart are these cities?
