Hello, In order to have a good appreciation of these National Parks, I would like to know which are the suggested number of gamedrives that I should make in Masai Mara (4 or 5?) as well as in Samburu (3 or 4?).
usually you have two game drive per day, one in the morning and the second one when the sun goes down, during the day it is hot and the animals are just asleep !!
My experience has been that is better to do one game drive a day. So instead of a morning and sunset drive you leave around 8/9am for the entire day...yes the drive can be long but you will be super rewarded with all the game you will see. Right now the weather is near perfect during the day - 80 deg. at the worst....I was there in august and it was 70s the whole week we were there with a slight overcast.
