Hello Friends

I have joined a media company in Nairobi, Kenya and would be joining them in Mid-March 2010. I am looking for a fully furnished accommodation preferably in the Parksland area of Nairobi or any other area where there would be a lot of expats or Indians in the neighborhood. I am 28 yrs old Male from India and since I'm single as of now, I am ok with both a single or double bedroom apt. My budget is somewhere between 45K ksh to 65K ksh per month. My primary concerns are cleanliness, security and a quite ambiance in the locality and the apt itself.

Also, M looking for a decent used car preferably a HONDA or HYUNDAI. My budget for the car is 800,000 Ksh.

If anybody can suggest me about the normal living cost in Nairobi then it would be simply great. I like to go out to clubs every saturday-sunday and love to watch movies and want advise on the entry charges at the top clubs or pubs.

you could try navila flats in westlands ,. they go for 55000/- fully furnished and are very clean. just look them on internet and u can see the pictures also.

Welcome to Kenya, If you need an environment with Indians then parklands is the place.Inaddition, I have a very clean used Toyota Noah, i have had it for an year, am selling it.
