I am a 24 year old female from USA. I am planning a wedding in Kenya (my fiance is from Kenya). I am interested in having the wedding in the masai mara safari. Can anyone tell me how I would go about booking a wedding at this location. Who would I speak to or call? Also is there any other wedding sites (outdoors) that you would recommend. I am still looking. Another question I had is... is there any nice hotels that you could recommend for my wedding night in/around the nairobi area? My price range would be no more than $200-$300USD/night. If anyone has personal experience with this I would GREATLY appreciate any help. I have so many questions. Thanks for any future help.

Good Morning,

I would recommend the Nairobi Safari Club hotel that is situated in the center of Nairobi.

www.nairobisafariclub.com

In relation to some areas of Interest I could suggest some nice places for your wedding.

Do not worry, Kenya is a beautiful country.

If you need anymore help feel free to contact me. I have a lot of experience in the country and spend almost 7 months a year there.

Thats nice of u to choose your wedding in kenya. There are many Hotels in masai mara and they all could host wedding there. Sugestion is contact the hotel directly by wed searching. to mention a few like mara serena hoetl. mara supa lodge, kitchwa tembo, keekorok lodge etc. for such an important event if i were u i could only cantact them myself for security and safty. Or get married in the USA then booke such hotel in kenya for your honeymoon. may even work better that way to me but its all up to you. good luck and best wishes. congrates for picking a kenya.

Hi,
It may sound late but it is better late than never,i have a suggestion for you ,you could organise your wedding in Nairobi and then visit masai mara for your honey moon because making the wedding in a hotel will cost you a bit .I am a tour operator and for you to book the hotels direct is very expensive rather booking through an agent so i would recommend you use an agent and in Nairobi you can book a church hall or a social hall for your wedding then make your honeymoon in a special organised safari to several places which am able to do for you.

I am not a professional in this area nor have a personal experience but with $200 per couple you can get a good package for a bush event but only for you and your best couple.

My worry is if the girl is Kenya if the Kenya family will be happy with a private wedding ...... best you do the wedding in her Local Church where her family and commnnunity participates.... then go to maasai mara for a honey moon.

Have two sisters married in Germany and that what they did the last one being two weeks ago

Will have a professional event manager look at at your request nd give you feedback as i am not of much help but i fear for you that some advice here is not correct

Congratulations! I may be late with this response. I own a venue and work with the best in the industry to create dreams for my clients. My venue is in Nairobi, but also includes an old English house which you can stay in on your way into and out of Kenya. E-mail me for details, maps, photos and so on.

Karibu Kenya!

Kind regards
