help!!!

Hi

I am from india and have intended to travel down to egypt for 3 months on a business trip.I have got the visa number or something like that from my counterpart there.Now i wanna make sure whether its true.Is there an option where i could check the status of my visa online? If so can anyone let me know how to do it?
