Confused visit OR stay 4 ever?

I am surprised seeing its not only me who love to visit/stay in Egypt, I found this site really interesting for whom need to know (active) info about Egypt, but I also sadly found most questions have no replies or even who posted them have not checked their answers.
I hold EU citizenship & Iraqi origin, I want to visit Egypt with my family for 1 month in January but staying there is occupying my thinking all the time, I am confused because I don't know anybody from there or in similar situation to get some advices from.

1- I wonder to know how a family of 4 or 5 persons can live having a budget of half million Egyptian Pounds?
2- And what sort of business can be set up as we most probably cannot find jobs suit our qualifications?
3- Or is there families similar to us who have managed to live in both countries?
