I am from the Basque Country. I started the project of travelling two months ago on a sailing boat, but I have just had an accident in Dakar, and now I am trying to find a way to continue my journey anyway. I'm specialy interested in Mali, Burkina Faso, Ivory, Nigeria, Camerun, Gabon, Angola, Namibia, Madagascar... land or sea, it doesn't matter. Could you give me any information or help me anyway?

Hi
Depends on what help you require!
If you could expand on the above please.
I'm available as a crew member. I have my RYA Yatchmaster offshore certificate and plenty of sailing experience to go. Mostly spent as captain onboard 21m cat around Zanzibar, Madagascar, Tanzania and Kenya + UK waters.
If your thinking of sailing down round Yeman and Somalia be very careful of Pirates they know all the tricks and have very fast vessels. Its still achievable but you really need to know the situation.
Best of luck!

I have been in Nigeria for half year. Northern of ##### is dusty and dry but southern is green and west. Actually ##### is the Africa of Africa. The people is the typical black African. I don't think it is the travelling point for foreigners. That's why it's typical local. I love Nigerian music, strong and continuous rythem, you cannot help yourself following blacks shake your waist and buttom.
Pls take care on your way. Also I will be glad to hear from you if you let me know something of the journey.
