Hi,
I am looking for any advice about driving from Sierra Leone (in a Sierra Leone registered car) back to the UK, following the coast. The plan is to sell/scrap the car in Europe or if it is still working drive it on to where ever I live next.
It would be amazing if anyone could particularly help with a few bits that are coming up at the moment....
1. has anyone been through Mauritania recently?
2. is it possible to get a carnet de passage where I leave the deposit in ideally the UK or Europe... This way I know I will get the money back at the end!
Any other advice would be great, and if anyone is interested in joining also let me know, the plan is to leave at the start of August 2014
