Our Company was established in 1998 to show guests, less visited and magical parts of Southern Africa, we specialize in tailor made tours often for as little as two people, this allows great personal service from our knowledgeable guides and enables guests to do as they please. We are not time bound and can spend extra time at a waterhole to get that special photograph. We are members of SATSA (South African Touring Services Association) which requires, stringent insurance, financial and ethical controls. I T I N E R A R Y Day 1. Transfer from your Cape Town flight. We will collect you and take you to Table Mountain Lodge. Located on the slopes of the mountain but a few minutes walk from the City Centre and the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront.. Day 2. At leisure in Cape Town. Cape town is one of the worlds greatest cities and has a great nightlife and excellent inexpensive restaurants. You can hike or take the cable car up Table Mountain, go to the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront or take a boat trip to Robben Island. where Nelson Mandela was held prisoner for 27 years. Day 3. We include a day trip to the fishing village of Hout Bay and the Cape of Good Hope Nature reserve, this will be with a specialist Cape Town Guide. Day 4. A further day at leisure in Cape Town. Day 5. Leave for a tour of the wine growing district stop overnight in the village of Franschhoek. South Africa makes great red wine you will stay in a cottage in one of the vineyards. Naturally you will get the chance to sample the wine and have a tour of the vineyard. Day 6. Travel on to Oudtshoorn located in the semi desert Karoo. Visit the Kango Caves. We will take you to a restaurant that serves excellent Ostrich. Day 7. We take you to Mossel Bay where you can take a walk round the fishing boats in the harbour, visit the Diaz museum or take a cage dive, where you would be lowered into the water wearing breathing apparatus, you should then come face to face with a great white. Rather you than me !!!! Day 8 You will take the Outinequa, Choo, Tjoe, one of South Africa's few remaining steam trains, on the spectacular route from George to Knysna. You will stay overnight in Knysna which is in the heart of the South African Lake District. Day 9 We explore Knysna and Plettenburg Bay before moving on to the Tsitsikamma National Park. Overnight in Storms River at the entrance to the Park. Day 10 Choose form a number of activities, for those brave enough, the worlds highest bungee jump with a drop of 216 metres. Enjoy some of the magic walks in the Tsitsikamma National Park, take a tree top canopy tour suspended in the giant Outeniqua Yellowwood trees, or go abseiling, mountain biking, horse riding, snorkeling or just take afternoon tea at the rest camp and enjoy the stunning views. We will then depart for Port Elizabeth where you will stay at Beach House, which is located 50 meters from Port Elizabeth's Hobie Beach and is a short walk to the Boardwalk which has good restaurants and a Casino Day 11 At leisure in Port Elizabeth. Day 12 Day trip to the Addo Elephant National Park. This is the densest population of elephants in Africa and had lions reintroduced in 2003. The park is home to numerous other species, including zebra, wilderbeest, rhino, water buffalo, kudu, numerous antelope species, monkeys, aardvalk, jackal, meerkats and the flightless dung beetle. Day 13. Further day of leisure in Port Elizabeth, in the evening we include a township Shebben tour, this will be with a specialist township guide who will take you to see the other side of Africa. Day 14. We will take you on another day trip to a private game reserve where you will travel in an open Land Rover amongst the "Big 5" to give you a chance to see any of the animals you missed at the Addo National Park. Day 15. Today we should see the last of the "Big 7" we arrange a boat trip to St Croix Island and hopefully spot a Bryde or Humpback whale, failing that you are assured of seeing the famous Port Elizabeth penguin colonies Day 16 Final morning in Port Elizabeth we will provide your transfer to Port Elizabeth airport. Day 9 Breakfast in Knysna, Escorted tour of Knysna, Plettenburg Bay onto Storms River. Entrance Fee for the Tsitsikamma National Park. Day 10 Breakfast at the Armagh in Storms River choice of activity. Escorted Tour to Port Elizabeth. Day 11 Breakfast at Beach House Port Elizabeth. Day 12 Breakfast and escorted tour of the Addo Elephant National Park including entrance fees and picnic lunch. Day 13 Breakfast and escorted evening township tour including traditional meal. Day 14 Breakfast and Escorted tour to "Big 5" Game Reserve including lunch. Day 15 Breakfast and boat trip to view penguin colonies and hopefully see a Bryde or Humpback whale. Day 16 Breakfast and transfer to Port Elizabeth airport.
