I T I N E R A R Y
Day 1 :
Arrive at JKIA. Meet, assist and briefing by our driver guide and transfer to Hotel Intercontinental for overnight stay. Overnight at Hotel Intercontinental. ( L )
Day 2 :
After breakfast, depart for Mountain Lodge. Arrive at the lodge by lunchtime. This is a tree lodge in the heart of the mountain forest. The saltlick here attracts animals such as elephant and buffalo among many others. Lunch, dinner and overnight at Mountain Lodge. ( B, L, D )
Day 3 :
After breakfast, depart for Samburu Game Reserve set in the semi-arid area of North Kenya. Arrive by lunchtime. Afternoon gamedrive follows after lunch. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Serena Lodge. ( B, L, D )
Day 4 :
Full day at Samburu Game Reserve. Early morning and afternoon gamedrives. Breakfast, lunch and dinner at Samburu Serena Lodge. ( B, L, D )
Day 5 :
After breakfast, depart for a scenic drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, a bird and rhino sanctuary, and home to a variety of wildlife. The lake, which is a World Heritage Site, is famous for its vast numbers of pink flamingoes. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge. A late afternoon gamedrive will allow you to see the many wild animals in the park. You will also be taken to a cliff view point overlooking the lake. Dinner and overnight in a deluxe room at Lion Hill Camp. ( B, L, D )
Day 6 :
After breakfast, depart for Lake Naivasha, home to a variety of birds. Arrive at the club in time for lunch. You will be taken for a boat ride on the lake after lunch. Dinenr and overnight at Lake Naivasha Country Club. ( B, L, D )
Day 7 :
After breakfast, depart for a scenic drive to the world famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Stop enroute at the edge of the Rift Valley escarpment to see the stunning views. You will also see the Masai people on the way, who live largely unaffected by modern civilization. Check in at your safari lodge and enjoy a sumptuous buffet lunch. Later in the afternoon, you will be taken for a comprehensive gamedrive in the park. Spot lion, elephant, rhino, cheetah and many more animals roaming wild on the Mara plains. Overnight at Mara Sarova Camp. ( B, L, D )
Day 8 :
Today you will explore the great Masai Mara National Reserve. After /before breakfast, set off for your gamedrive. You may stop and walk at special sites such as rivers where you can get a closer look at hippo and crocodiles. Return to the lodge where you can enjoy a refreshing swim before your buffet lunch. Later in the afternoon, leave for another gamedrive to explore another part of this famous reserve. Expert gametracking skills of your tour guide cum driver ensure that you see the best game possible. Enjoy a buffet dinner at the lodge. Overnight at Mara Sarova Camp. ( B, L, D )
Day 9 :
After breakfast, depart for Nairobi. On arrival in Nairobi, transfer to the airport for one hour flight to Mombasa. On arrival in Mombasa, you will be transferred to your hotel. Check-in at your beach hotel. Rest of the afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Mombasa Serena Beach Hotel. ( B, D )
Day 10 :
Full day at Mombasa Serena Beach Hotel ( B, D )
Day 11 : Full day at Mombasa Serena Beach Hotel ( B, D )
Day 12 :
After breakfast, rest of the morning will be at leisure. Late afternoon transfer to the airport for flight to Nairobi. On arrival in Nairobi, check-in for international flight home. ( B )
