All safari activities as per itinerary (two game drives a day, a night drive and morning bush walk) Meet and Greet – arrival day - 28 August 2010 On arrival at Nelspruit (KMIA) airport guests will be welcomed, and transferred to your first lodge/restcamp. You meet our team and depending on time of arrival, we settle you into your accommodation, provide a light lunch or pre-game drive snacks, and then onto our open-sided safari game viewing vehicle for your first memorable game drive, and introduction to the world-famous Kruger National Park. Berg-en-Dal (southern Kruger) 28-30 AUGUST 2010 (2 NIGHTS) This quaint very private camp with only 5 units is our entrance to a wonderful safari. Situated inside the Kruger it is a perfect intorudction to a wonderful 10 days where Neil and his hospitality chef will sit you down and talk about the up-coming adventure in this national park that is the size of a small country. During you next 8 nights you will be travelling about 1 000kms through SA's national treasure. Accommodation is in private en-suite bungalow under thatch for two people sharing. Skukuza (south western Kruger) 30 AUGUST TO 1 SEPTEMBER 2010 (2 NIGHTS) After breakfast on the second day begins a fantastic privately guided game drive into the ecology and diversity of the southern landscapes of the Kruger, where we spend the second night in Skukuza. Accommodation is in private en-suite bungalow under thatch for two people sharing. Satara (central Kruger) 1-4 SEPTEMBER 2010 (3 NIGHTS) Satara is ideally situated in the central Kruger NP. Day five is a leisurely game drive after breakfast towards Satara Camp in central Kruger. Situated in an excellent game viewing area, Satara has relatively open bushland and the game is plentiful and diverse. Satara camp itself has a rustic charm, with the accommodation set out in a series of circles. Satara camp is well wooded and the bird-life is prolific. At night the clink of fruit bats is fused with the chirping of cicadas and crickets. Owls and nightjars add to the symphony that is punctuated by the whoop of hyena, the screech of jackal and the roar of lion. Accommodation is in private en-suite bungalow under thatch for two people sharing. Crocodile Bridge (south eastern Kruger) 4-6 SEPTEMBER 2010 (2 NIGHTS) This small and delightful camp is situated in the South eastern corner of the Kruger National Park, on the northern bank of the Crocodile River, from which it derives its name. The game viewing area is known as the 'Southern Circle' and is renowned for its concentration of different prides of Lion with different hunting techniques and behavior. It has an abundance of prides, herds, troops, packs and swarms. It is home to a larger percentage of the Kruger National Park's total rhino population. Accommodation is in private en-suite bungalow under thatch for two people sharing. * Accommodation for all nine nights include serviced (linen and towels) en-suite units for two people sharing.
