Known to the Kikuyu as Nyandarua drying hide, the Aberdares were named after the president of the Royal Geaographical Society by the explorer Thomson 1884. There are dense and extensive areas.
Day 01 Transfer to Aberdares National Park. Afternoon walk to Magura campsite (4hrs). Dinner and overnight at Aberdares (Magura camp).
Day 02 Walk to Honi river campsite (6-7hrs). Dinner and overnight at the campsite.
Day 03 Walk to Wanderis road head (6-7hrs). Dinner and overnight at the campsite.
Day 04 Climb Satima top and walk back to Wanderis gate and back to Nairobi.
