A relaxed leisurely safari combining prime wildlife reserves and parks in the north and south of Kenya, including stays in Nairobi where you will explore the cultural, historical aspects of the city.

Day 1
Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta Airport, where you will be received by your driver cum guide. Transfer to your hotel. Day at leisure. You will be taken to nearby shopping malls, bargain markets and foodcourts. Nairobi also has several vibrant nightspots such as dicsotheques, restaurants and high class casinos. Transfers to these can be arranged on request. Overnight at Jacaranda Hotel
Day 2
After a buffet breakfast, depart northwards for a scenic drive to the Mount Kenya region. Lunch and overnight at Sweet Waters tented camp, situated on the bank of a river, in the heart of the game sanctuary. Night game drives are one of the unique features of this sanctuary. Visit the sole chimpanzee sanctuary in the country. Overnight at the Sweetwaters Tented Camp. ( B, L, D )
Day 3
Enjoy your buffet breakfast before leaving for the luxurious and exclusive Mount Kenya Safari Club. This club was founded by Hollywood star William Holden. Enjoy spectacular views of Mount Kenya. After breakfast, you may relax by playing golf, swimming, horseriding or fishing. The club has excellent gardens. Enjoy a formal English dinner at the club. Overnight at Mount Kenya Safari Club.

Day 4
After a buffet breakfast, depart for the semi arid Samburu Game Reserve, a dramatic contrast to the lush green vegetation of the days before. Arrive at the lodge by lunchtime. Lunch at the lodge. Afternoon game drive follows. Overnight at Samburu Serena Lodge or similar. ( B, L, D )
Day 5
Full day at Samburu, including morning and afternoon game drives. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at Samburu Serena Lodge or similar. ( B, L, D )
Day 6
After a buffet breakfast, depart for the scenic Lake Nakuru National Park, a bird and rhino sanctuary, and home to a variety of wildlife. This lake is famous for its pink flamingoes. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge. A late afternoon gamedrive will allow you to see the many wild animals in the park. This park has a prolific range of game with the exception of elephants. Experienced bird watchers can spot upto 200 species of birds here in a day.You will also be taken to the Baboon cliff viewpoint overlooking the lake. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Lion Hill or equivalent. ( B,L,D )
Day 7
Depart for an early morning gamedrive to view the amazing birdlife and a variety of game. Return to the lodge for a sumptuous breakfast. Rest of the morning at leisure. Lunch and afternoon gamedrive follows. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Lion Hill or equivalent. ( B,L,D )
Day 8
After a buffet breakfast, depart for scenic drive to Lake Naivasha. Arrive in time for lunch. Rest of the afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha Country Club. ( B )
Day 9
After a buffet breakfast, you begin your safari by taking a scenic drive to the world famous Masai Mara. Stop enroute at the edge of the Rift Valley escarpment to see the stunning views. You will also see the Masai people on the way, who live largely unaffected by modern civilization. Check in at your safari lodge and enjoy a sumptuous buffet lunch. Later in the afternoon, you will be taken for a comprehensive gamedrive in the park. Spot lion, elephant, rhino, cheetah and many more animals roaming wild on the Mara plains. Overnight at Mara Simba Lodge or equivalent. ( B,L,D )
Day 10
Today you will explore the great Masai Mara. After /before breakfast, set off for your gamedrive. You may stop and walk at special sites such as rivers where you can get a closer look at hippo and crocodiles. Return to the lodge where you can enjoy a refreshing swim before your buffet lunch. Later in the afternoon, leave for another gamedrive to explore another part of this famous reserve. Expert gametracking skills of your tour guide cum driver ensure that you see the best game possible. Enjoy a buffet dinner at the lodge. Overnight at Mara Simba Lodge or equivalent. ( B,L,D )
Day 11
After a buffet breakfast, you will leave for a scenic drive to Nairobi . Afternoon transfer to shopping malls for last minute shopping, and to the airport for flight home. ( B,L )
The Tour Price includes:
- All airport transfers, surface ground transport and full gamedrives in a nine seater tourist van with a pop-up roof.
- Accommodation as stated. Nairobi hotels on Bed & Breakfast basis, and lodges on fullboard basis.
