New updated pricing for 2010 ================================= Semi-Luxury Fully Guided Mobile Safari to Namibia This Tour Operator specialises in providing semi-luxury mobile safaris, conducted in specially prepared comfortable off-road game viewing vehicle and led by experienced guides. This safari has been prepared specifically with the accent on a safari that combines the adventure of a true African bush safari, access to big game, together with a degree of comfort not normally found under these circumstances. The safari will cover a number of distinct eco-systems within the Namibian bush environments, including the awe inspiring and fascinating remote areas of Damarland and Kaokoland. It is a mobile safari, which means that many nights, camp will be pitched and struck again the next morning. Your crew will take care of all this without intruding on your privacy. Care has been taken in choosing this itinerary to include the following well known, and some lesser known but nonetheless exciting bush and game areas. -Damaraland -Kaokoland -Etosha National Park This safari is for 14 nights, commencing and ending in Windhoek, Namibia. Day by day activity Day 1. arr Windhoek. Met by us. Overnight at a lodge en route to Etosha Game Reserve. Days 2+3+4. Camp for three nights, first at Okaukuejo, in this unique, world famous reserve. Continue in Etosha National Park, game viewing at leisure during the day, moving on to Fort Namutoni. Day 5. Leaving Etosha drive north, to Ruanca near the Angola border and over night camp at the idyllic community campsite. Days 6+7. Following the Kunene River west to Epupa Falls on the Kunune River. Camp for two nights, explore this area and visit Himba villages. Day 8. Continue via the beautiful Marienfluss to camp on banks of Kunene river. Days 9+10. Head south through Kaokoland, to Purros in search of the scarce desert adapted elephant, Day 11. A magnificent and awe inspiring journey via Huanib River bed, and remote valleys to Sesfontein and on to Ongongo. Overnight camp in the Khowarib Schlucht. Day 12. South through Damaraland to Aba-Huab community camp site close to the Twyfelfontein complex, Burnt Mountain and the Organ pipes. This is the southern most area for desert adapted elephant and black rhino. Day 13. Continue south with the Brandberg ever present on the sky line, to Cape Cross on the Atlantic coast and on to Swakopmund. Overnight in chalets next to the Ocean. With some time available in Swakopmund to explore this quaint German town, and do some shopping. Day 14. Return to Windhoek and overnight at a lodge on the outskirts of the city. Day 15. Safari ends after breakfast. Transfer to Windhoek airport. This is a semi-luxury safari whereby a crew will accompany you throughout, making and breaking camp, cooking and serving all meals,as well as doing all camp chores.
