| A Walk on the Wild Side |
The first affordable exclusive Kruger and walking safari for up to eight people sharing.
A journey into the heart of enthralling wildlife experiences and adventure delivered by the very best guides. |
This journey will explore your resolve to witness first-hand, truly memorable wildlife encounters and interpretations by professional guides (rangers) and complimented by professional hospitality staff. Four nights in the small secluded bushveld lodges of the Kruger National Park with your personal hosts – professional and awe-inspiring insights into the Kruger’s eco-system, and fantastic discussions on animal behaviour and ecology. Set under African skies where the flickering stars compete with the flickering fire to sprinkle magic over a once-in-a-lifetime experience of being in the Kruger with a specialist guide. Accommodation is in luxury 1-bedroomed cottage with en-suite facilities, game drives are conducted in an exclusive open-sided game viewing vehicle, guiding and field interpretation by professional guides. A great introduction to your next three nights is under canvas in a non-fenced tented camp deep in the bush in the Greater Kruger National Park (private game reserve) where your itinerary changes from game driving to walking among the Big 5! Yes, nothing quite matches the experience of walking in the African bush – hosted by armed rangers who are armed with a knowledge and understanding of the wildlife – and entertained by the fire with great conversation each night. Good walking shoes and neutral coloured clothing are a must on this unique wilderness experience. Accommodation is in twin-bedded east African style tents with beds, linen, duvets and blankets provided. Hot showers and flush toilets are close by and meals are served in the dining tent. No electricity. This safari includes: All return road transport from JHB – Kruger All entrance fees, conservation fees and accommodation in both reserves (Kruger and Greater Kruger) All meals while on safari (breakfast, light lunches and dinner) The services of a guide and cook 24 hours a day All activities such as walks, game drives and night drives All accommodation (cottages in the Kruger /luxury tents in the Greater Kruger) Excludes International flights, drinks, tips, souvenirs and travel insurance
