Join us for a 5 day tour of Mpumalanga & Kruger National Park. It covers the province's scenic routes and spends time in Kruger viewing the Big 5 and everything else Kruger has to offer.

Join us on safari through Mpumalanga, the province best known for its wildlife and majestic parks. We will show you nature like you have never seen it before.
This safari is aimed at the tourist that wants to see the sites and have the very best service where it counts most, someone who wants to know why the Spotted Hyena has been nicknamed the "laughing Hyena", or why all the Impala drop their lambs within a period of a week.
The Safari departs on day 1 from Johannesburg at 09h00 and makes its way up to Mpumalanga. We will have lunch along the road whilst visiting the many scenic attractions along the way.
Stops will include places like God's Window, Pilgrims Rest and the Potholes. The first night will be spent at Graskop over looking the canyon.
The next day we will continue to enjoy the many wonderful sites this province has to offer, while we make our way to Kruger National Park. Once in Kruger we will head for our camp, which will be in the Lower Sabie rest camp, where we will be based for the rest of the tour.
While we are in the park you will enjoy at least 2 three hour game drives per day. Brunch is normally (weather dependent) served in the “bush” and is prepared from scratch by your guide.
A typical day is up at 05h30 with cereal, yoghurt and rusks with your tea or coffee. Game drive begins as soon as you have eaten and continues until brunch (normally around 10h30) After brunch we make our way back to camp to enjoy a swim in the pool or to cool down in your air-conditioned room. The afternoon drive normally begins at about 15h00, and continues until 18h00 when we return to camp for supper.
On our last day we will enjoy a morning game drive and after brunch we will make our to Johannesburg. It is envisaged that you will be returned to your hotel in Johannesburg by around 17h30.
My staff and I are on hand to help you as much as possible. We can collect and fetch you from the Airport (Johannesburg International) and drop you off at a hotel.
The tour can be modified to suit your requirements, by adding on a day or two, or by including something different that you would like to do or see.
Birding can be incorporated into this tour. We have one of the countries best bird guides (one of six), available to do this tour for you should you be a keen birder. Please feel free to request a list of special birds we could find for you on this tour.
All the tours we offer are perfectly suited to be the ideal family holiday. As we do not mix groups together you don’t have to worry about loud or over active children getting in the way of anybody else. Our guides understand that tours with children need to be handled a little differently! On request we can even provide prams, car seats and booster seats for very young children.
