SURF TOUR 9

We offer a excellent surfing holiday at Busua the west-coast of Ghana on 250 km west of Accra, the capital of Ghana. Busua Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches of Ghana and always has waves for the beginner and experienced. Busua is a wonderful mix of traditional Ghanaian coastal village and a tourist destination. In day-time you will be busy catching some awesome breaks and in the evening it’s time for party or relaxing. Busua has planty tourist activities to offer and probably you will meet the most friendly people of the world !

Day 1
Welcome, Akwaaba!
Welcome to Accra, capital of Ghana. Transfer to the African Royal Beach Hotel.

Day 2
After breakfast, departure to Busua where we will check in at Dadson Lodge. A cosy hotel built on the beach of Busua. Including breakfast and dinner.

Day 3
Today we head by van or boat ride to the surf spots. We will explore Surf Butre Rock, Abokwa Island or Black Mamba Point. The rest of the day we will spent surfing the various sized beach breaks in Busua. Including breakfast and dinner. Overnight at Dadson Lodge.

Day 4
In the morning we explore some hot surf spots ! We head to Abokwa Island, Black Mamba Point or Dixcove Point. In the afternoon surfing at the beach breaks in Busua. Including breakfast and dinner. Overnight at Dadson Lodge.

Day 5
Today we travel by boat to the fishing village of Akwidaa. During our trip you have the opportunity to explore some known spots as Surf Dixcove, Black Star Beach or LP’s. Akwidaa is a beach break with some great lefts and rights. A great spot for late afternoon or early morning surf !
Including breakfast, lunch and dinner. Overnight in Akwidaa.

Day 6
We continue our surf adventure by boat traveling from Akwidaa to Prince’s Town. On our way to Price’s Town we Surf at Cape Three Points and some other known and unknown spots along the way. Once in prince’s Town you will be able to choose from the river mouth break or point breaks that surround Fort Gross Friedrichsburg, a 17th century slave fort that is unique for Ghana as it is the only fort in the country built by Germans. You have the option to visit the castle. In the afternoon we travel to miema, which has a more protected bay. Including breakfast, lunch and dinner. Overnight at Kedas Lodge in Miemia.

Day 7
Today we travel to Matrakni Point where we will find some great left and right point breaks. Mutrakni Point is perhaps the best left break in all of Ghana. The bay is well protected and offers a great place to swim or take advantage of the scuba gear that is available for rent at the lodge. Including breakfast, lunch and dinner. Overnight at Kedas Lodge in Miemia.

Day 8
In the morning we will travel back and Surf at Mutrakni Point or Prince’s Town and make arrangement to be picked up in either Prince’s Town or Miemia. We will than travel back to Busua. On our last night in Busua you will be treated to a lobster dinner and the chance to enjoy a bonfire complete with a traditional dance and drumming troupe. Including breakfast and dinner. Overnight at Dadson Lodge.

Day 9
Transfer from Busua to the airport. The End of an unforgettable African surf holiday !
