Burkina Faso wins the heart of travelers with its relaxed pace of live, friendly people and wealth of interesting sights. From the deserts and unrivalled Gorom-Gorom market in the north, to the green country¬side and strange rock formations of the country’s southwest, Burkina spans a rich variety of landscapes. The country, too, is home to a fascinating cultural mix, with the Burkinabé (people from Burkina Faso) almost as diverse as the terrain.
Day 1
Travel to Ouagadougou the capital of Burkina Faso. After welcoming at the airport you will be transferred to your hotel.
Day 2
We bring a visit to Dori, the capital of Sahel region. We visit the town with the most old historical places. Dori is on a distance of 300 km from Ouagadougou. We stay here for overnight in a hotel.
Day 3, 4, 5
Transfer to Gorom-Gorom, capital of the province Oudalan. This is the most north-eastern province of Burkina Faso against the neighbouring countries Mali and Niger. The name Gorem-Gorem means “have a seat and we will also sit”. Here we will ride on a camel through the beautiful dunes of Sahel. Today we camp on the dunes and enjoy the camp-fire.
Day 6
Today we bring a visit to Bani. This is a small town between Ouagadougou and Gorem-Gorem. This place is known because of its beautiful mosques. Many mosques in Bani are tumbled- down. The tourists are very welcome in Bani. Here we will visit a big and famous mosque. We will stay for overnight in Bani.
Day 7
Today ‘Kaya’ is on our program. Kaya is the capital of the province Sanmatenga. An important city in Burkina Faso, because of the railway connection between Kaya and Ouagadougou. Here we will visit a tannery where cows are getting traditionally filled. They use the leather to make bags. They sell these bags for a very cheap price. After that we drive to Ouagadougou where we will stay for overnight in a hotel.
Day 8
Today we will visit the wonderful Ouagadougou. We will shop and visit some interesting places. After that transfer to the airport of Ouagadougou for your flight back to your home destination. The end of a wonderful round trip through Burkina Faso.
