Burkina Faso is placed in the western part of the cradle in West- Africa. It is a landlocked country and is famous because of his hospitality, legends and cultural richness. One of the most important is the traditional music, dancing and singing. The population includes about sixty ethnic groups who are living in perfect harmony through the centuries.
Day 1
Travel to Ouagadougou the capital of Burkina Faso. After welcoming at the airport you will be transferred to your hotel.
Day 2
Transfer from Ouagadougou to Tengrela. This is a town in Banfora in the west of Burkina Faso. We stay for camping in a typical African house.
Day 3
Early in the morning we take a walk to the Tengrela lake. We will enter a canoe. On the water we will see many hippo’s. After a wonderful canoe ride we will bring a visit to the beautiful Karfiguela waterfalls. One of Burkina Faso’s famous attractions. Many tourists are visiting these waterfalls. We will take a refreshing swim before we have our picnic in this beautiful area. In the afternoon we depart to the peaks of Sindou, who still have a important role in the rituals of the Sénoufo. This is a big nature area with rocks where you can take a nice walk. We will stay here for camping.
Day 4
Today it’s time to discover Sindou and her beautiful peaks. In the afternoon we will drive to Niansogoni, the village of the caveman. After that we bring a visit to the town with its innumerable attics. We will stay here for camping.
Day 5
Today we will walk through the rivers and cliffs to reach Senoufo, with her outlying and animism villages. This is a special fascinating region of Burkina Faso. Today we will camp in the village “Niantono”.
Day 6
We will continue our tour and arrive in the town Noumoussoba. A town of forge. We bring a visit to the forge. From here we will walk to Niofila. We stay here for overnight.
Day 7
Today we will fish on the barrier. After that we drive towards Bobo to Banfora. Banfora is a normal, typical village in a beautiful surrounding. There are many possibilities for going out. Here we will bring a visit to the market before we continue to Bobo- Dioulasso. This is the cultural city of Burkina Faso. Bobo- Dioulasso is famous because of the swinging traditional Djembé Music. The wide lanes with mango trees are breading out a kind atmosphere. You can visit a beautiful mosque, visit the market and in one of the many local bars you can absorb the hectic street life. We will visit the old district. We stay for overnight in a hotel.
Day 8
We leave Dafra behind us for the ‘sacrifice’ to the silures consecrate. After the sacrifice we return to Bobo- Dioulasso. After that we drive to Ouagadougou. In Ouagadougou we will bring a visit to the centre and the craftsmen before your transfer to the airport of Ouagadougou for your flight back to your home destination. The end of a wonderful round trip through Burkina Faso.
