Starting in Burkina Faso, we visit Benin and Togo, taking in the culture and wonderful scenery

TOUR (TO–RO01)
ADVENTURES TOGO
Day 1
Travel to Ouagadougou the capital of Burkina Faso. After welcoming at the airport you will be transferred to your hotel.
Day 2
Today we leave Ouagadougou behind us and drive to the Dapaong Mountain in Togo. Dapaong is on 35 km distance from Burkina Faso. The ‘Mobas’ inhabitants will welcome us. Here we will stay for camping.
Day 3
We will visit a market and after that we will discover a old village of the Caveman. We will stay for camping.
Day 4
We depart to Kanté. After that we travel to the heart of Benin, Tamberma. We will discover the famous Tata: clay houses build in the shape of a castle. The houses are protected by Unesco.
Day 5
Today we drive to Kara. We will spent the rest of the day on a terrace with great musicians and very good blacksmiths. We will stay here for camping.
Day 6
In the morning we will take the famous ‘Aledjo’ road to Fazao National Park. The park is very nearby the international border with Ghana. The place has it’s fantastic forests and savanna. Fazao is the house of many monkey’s, reptiles and other animals.
Day 7
Transfer to Atakpamé. This is a cosy little city surrounded by mountains. Here you will find nice houses, build on 500 m altitude. We will visit the market and overnight in a motel.
Day 8
Today we drive to Kpalimé. This place is on the mountain-ridge on the border with Ghana. You will see many motor- taxies drive. The city is surrounded by fruitful ground and it’s often rainy. Here we find tropical plants and butterflies. We stay for overnight in a motel.
Day 9
On the way to Lomé we will bring a visit to the Agou mountain, in the South-West on the border with Ghana. When you are on top of the mountain you have a wonderful panorama-view over the landscape and the Volta. We overnight in a hotel.
Day 10
On our last day we will drive to the lake of Togo. This is a shallow lake located at a silent place. Here we bring a visit to the market and after than we drive to Lomé, the capital of Togo. You will be transferred to the airport for your flight back to your home destination. The end of a wonderful trip.
