Desert, dunes and wellness explorer

Day 1:Windhoek
Arrival at the Windhoek International Airport; meet and greet by our representative before heading to Gocheganas nature reserve and wellness village. “GOCHEGANAS” – a descriptive Damara name, meaning: “Place of Camel Thorns, abounding with Candle-Pod Acacias” is more than just a place, it is an experience….located a mere 29 km south east from Windhoek on a hilltop overlooking a spectacular landscape, this luxury lodge offers a unique combination of Wildlife, Nature and Wellness experiences.
After lunch and time at leisure a late afternoon game drive is scheduled to explore the 25 different large game species. Alternatively the afternoon can be spent on optional wellness activities or at leisure.

Day 2: Swakopmund
Our journey continues to Swakopmund much loved by Namibians as a
welcome respite from the heat of interior. We will enjoy a township tour after lunch in the Mondesa suburb, a far more African and complex part of town. The night will be concluded with dinner at one of the many restaurants in town.

Day 3:Swakopmund
After an early breakfast, we take pleasure in a dolphin boat cruise where
you will experience friendly seals being fed on boat while dolphins swim around enjoying the fun. A large variety of sea birds such as pelicans, flamingos and cormorants can be seen during the cruise.
After lunch we will enjoy an afternoon quad bike experience in the desert and conclude the night with dinner at the Burning Shore, recently made famous by Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, who stayed there A/B&B
Day 4:Sossusvlei
We continue early morning towards the famous dunes of Sossusvlei. Le Mirrage Desert Lodge and Spa offers travelers a luxurious dwelling place in the hart of the astonishing Namib Desert. After lunch enjoy an afternoon walk encountering the inhabitants of the Namib Desert.

Day 5: Relax after an early morning balloon flight into the dunes in pampered guilt- free luxury and style by succumbing to the ultimate wellness temptation.
The afternoon will be concluded with a drive into the Sossusvlei before dinner.

Day 6:Kalahari Desert
We travel east towards the Kalahari desert to Bagatelle Kalahari Game Ranch,
Lodge lies on the edge of the Southern Kalahari in the mixed tree and shrub Savannah. The ‘spirit of Africa’ atmosphere, coupled with service delivered with graciousness and charm, in an unashamedly luxurious setting, are the hallmarks of this establishments.
After lunch and time at leisure, a sundowner on a red Kalahari sand dune will be the perfect way to watch the sun sink away into the distant dunes. Conclude the night with dinner on the viewing platform overlooking a natural waterhole.

Day 7: After breakfast, transfer to Windhoek to unwind, reenergize and do some shopping before transfer to the airport.
