Day 1 : Kampala – Murchison Falls National Park
Today you will meet our representative who will drive you to the most beautiful protected area in Uganda: Murchison Falls National Park. Murchison Falls is the largest national park in the country and characterized by savannah, riverine forest and woodland. Here you will find a great diversity of wildlife, including lions, leopards, chimpanzees, giraffes and many birds like the rare Shoebill. Dinner and overnight at Budongo Cabins.
Day 2 : Murchison Falls National Park
After early breakfast we will go for an exciting chimp tracking in Budongo Forest. Apart from the chimps the forest is home to the Black-and-White Colobus monkeys, Red Tailed Monkeys and other primates. Also a large number of bird species can be seen, including the Afep Pigeon, White thighed Hornbill and Tambourine Dove. In the afternoon we follow the road towards the heart of the park. Arrival at the accommodation which is situated directly at the shores of the Nile and time to relax and enjoy the splendid view. Dinner and overnight at Red Chilli Rest Camp.
Day 3 : Murchison Falls National Park
After an early morning breakfast you will enjoy a half-day game drive on the northern bank of the Nile, with chances of seeing elephants, giraffes, lions, hartebeests and a variety of birds. After lunch we will go on a Nile cruise for game viewing at close quarters. Watch how hippos take a bath, elephants come to drink and crocodiles lying lazy at the shores. Dinner and overnight at Red Chilli Rest Camp.
Day 4 : Murchison Falls National Park – Kampala
After breakfast we slowly return to the capital city. But not before we have visited the Top of the famous Waterfalls! Marvel at the mighty Nile where the fall is being forced into a seven meter crevice, to thunder 45 meters below in a series of cascades. After this spectacular scenery we continue to Kampala with lunch en route.
