Serondella Lodge (4 Star) is an ideal safari destination for families and photographers alike. Situated in the riverine forests on the banks of a tributary of the Monwana watercourse in the heart of the Thornybush Game Reserve are four carefully designed suites to ensure guests complete privacy and stunning vistas.
The Reserve offers unique exclusive Safari experiences in both open Land Rovers, and on foot. The private reserve is home to an abundance of species: 147 mammals including the "Big Five", 114 reptiles, 507 birds, 49 fish, 34 amphibians and 336 trees. The reserve is predominantly open savannah and with a near perfect year round climate, it is the ideal African safari holiday destination.
Game drives and walks are accompanied by highly trained and experienced rangers and trackers, ensuring that your African Safari experience is truly memorable. A typical day will include an early morning and late afternoon up-close game drives, while you may also request additional bush walks with your ranger & tracker.
The fact that Serondella can accommodate a maximum of eight means that guests will have the hosts undivided attention for the duration of their stay. Surprise bush and boma dinners as well as intimate sunset dinners for two on the viewing hides are the very least the astute guest can expect from Serondella Lodge.
