Warmth Tanzanian’s orphaned children

Join us on a unique and moving mission. Traveling in a small group in Tanzania, you will support our mission to bring joy and comfort to Tanzanian’s orphaned children. This special safari is sure to change the lives of those you meet.

Day 1: Visits Orphanage in Arusha/ Maji ya Chai
Today you will visit two orphanages centres: CCF (Children for Children's Future) has two main centers in the Arusha area. One is in Arusha (a drop-in-centre); the other is a residential facility at Maji ya Chai, 12 miles from Arusha. It normally houses street children and orphans as a result of HIV & AIDS diseases. Children are required to stay at Kaloleni for three months before they are referred to Maji ya Chai, if necessary. Maji ya Chai is their long-term residential centre where those children get basic care, along with the opportunity to attend a formal primary and secondary school. Others are in vocational training colleges.

Day 3: Arusha National Park /Departure
In the morning, we’ll visit Arusha National Park. This unique park contains three distinct habitats within its boundaries. Ngurdoto Crater is a thickly wooded caldera filled with wildlife. The floor of the crater is off-limits, to protect the animals from human disturbance. But there are a series of look-outs ringing the crater, from which you may look down into the caldera with its black rhino, buffalo, elephants, and monkeys. Or look up, to catch a glimpse of Kilimanjaro in the distance. Mount Meru is the fourth-largest mountain in Africa, and offers the distinct mountain forest species such as colobus and Sykes monkeys, as well as hippo, rhino, giraffe, and elephant. The Momela Lakes are a series of seven lakes, varying in alkalinity and wildlife, where you may see Pink-backed Pelicans and Greater Flamingoes.
