UGANDA MOUNTAIN GORILLA FLYING SAFARI
Day One:
Arrive at the airport, met and transferred to Kampala. Overnight at Emin Pasha Hotel. Meal Plan - Bed and breakfast. TRANSIT TIME 45 minutes..
Day Two:
Morning transfer to Kajjansi airstrip for the private Chartered Flight to Ishasha which takes aproximately 1.5. The 4x4 safari vehicle provides transfers and game drives in the Famous Ishasha Plains. Picnic lunches will be provided in the bush while on a gameviewing drive in search of the tree climbing Lions, Elephant, Cape Buffalo, Hippo, Topi and other wildlife. Later in the evening, proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable forest arriving in time for dinner and overnight at The Gorilla Resort. TRANSIT TIME 1 HOUR.
This new Intimate exclusive high end safari camp with a breath taking view of the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is located at Buhoma - Bwindi Impenetrable Gorilla National Park on a Mountain side. The camp has been constructed and built to the highest standards whilst retaining sympathy with the local surroundings. Wherever possible, local materials and craftsmen have been employed.
The camp is composed of a main lodge which includes a Restaurant, Bar, Suspended deck that features a campfire overlooking the Tropical Rain Forest, Lounge and Kitchen where the resident chef provides the finest mouth watering meals.
There are large walk-in safari tents and cottages with their own en-suite facilities [including hot and cold water] While each of the accommodations is fitted with a Victorian Ball and Claw-foot Brass Bathtub. Both tents and cottages command spectacular panoramic views of the forest and the River Munyaga
Day Three:
Gorilla trekking starts after breakfast. The rangers and trackers through the thick and steep vegetation track the Gorillas. After viewing the gorillas, have your picnic lunch and return to Gorilla Resort Bwindi Camp. Meal Plan - Lunch and Dinner.. TREKKING TIME - 30 Minutes - 8 HOURS
Day Four:
Second day of Gorilla trekking. This time to a different group of Mountain Gorillas. Return to the first Class Service of the Camp for Cocktails, wines, Beers and Soda at the viewing deck overlooking the forest. Dinner and overnight at The Gorilla Resort Bwindi Camp. Meal Plan - Lunch and Dinner. TREKKING TIME - 30Minutes - 8 HOURS
Day Five:
Take a scenic drive to Kayonza airstrip for the mid morning flight to Entebbe airport to connecting homebound flight. TRANSIT TIME 2 HOURS
