ITINERARY Day 1: - Meet at our office at 0830 in the morning. [A free collection service is offered to clients in Lilongwe] Depart Lilongwe at 0900, drive for 1 and ½ hrs to Salima and Senga Bay. Board and set sail on the magnificent 38 full live aboard catamaran the only live aboard yacht on Lake Malawi. Fully crewed with skipper & deck hand, you will sail in comfort, luxury and style to Cape Maclear. Lie out on the front trampoline basking in the sun, listen to the water lapping beneath you as you sail towards Cape Maclear and Lake Malawi National Park. On arrival, check into your comfortable rooms. Overnight Lodge on full board basis Day 2 & 3: - Early morning swims and hot showers are the perfect start to your day. Snorkel, scuba dive [extra], fish, swim and listen to the cry of the fish eagle whilst you enjoy top cuisine and watch wonderful sunsets from the patio of the Lodge at Cape Maclear. Aspiring and experienced sailors have plenty of opportunity to take the helm and hone their sailing skills and the days are spent pursuing your choice of activity. [Sailing in the Lodges dart, swimming, snorkelling, water skiing, mountain biking etc are all included in your price]. Overnight at Lodge in Cape Maclear on a full board basis. Day 4 Today we co- ordinate your sail or road transfer back to Senga Bay and Lilongwe to in time for your return flight or onward travel. Please Note We reserve the right to change the above itinerary depending on the availability of the Yacht, however 1 X 3 hr sail is guaranteed. Includes: - Transport Lilongwe return, accommodation per person sharing 3 nights at Lodge inclusive watersports, all food. Excludes: - Alcoholic and bottled drinks, local gratuities, scuba diving Lake Malawi -The worlds 3rd largest fresh water lake and home to over 800 fish species, a greater number of freshwater species than are found in Europe and N America combined. The vast majority of these fish belong to the Cichlid group, brightly coloured and favoured by aquariums worldwide. Lake Malawi National Park, declared in 1980, includes the Cape Maclear peninsula and the surrounding 9 islands - it is the most important freshwater fish sanctuary in the world. The magnificent 38 full live-aboard catamaran is the only live aboard yacht on Lake Malawi. Fully crewed with skipper, deck hand and chef ensures you will sail in comfort, luxury and style. It has four double cabins, and two single crews cabins, two bathrooms, galley, saloon and shaded cockpit area. The stylish guest house at Cape Maclear has en-suite family rooms serving top cuisine with activities such as water skiing, knee boarding, wake boarding, mountain biking, dart sailing, nature walks, table tennis, trampoline and pool all included in your package.
