This is a great trip for those looking to spend quality time in the African bush while still enjoying the comforts of home. Selati Camp is based on the golden years of the Kruger National Park and will take you back in time to the beginning of this wonderful reserve. We were awared with the TOUR OPERATOR OF THE YEAR AWARD, SERVICE EXCELLENCE 2006.

Day 1
Depart from Johannesburg Airport and fly directly to the Sabi Sabi air strip, in the Kruger National Park.

Arrive in time for lunch. This lovely small camp is set on the banks of a river is the perfect destination for honeymooners, or those people wanting to get away from the madding crowds, to a peaceful, romantic bush setting, with the added comfort.

Check in and freshen up and then it's off on your first safari, in open safari vehicles, with a professional ranger and tracker. This area of the Kruger National Park is famous for it's Leopard sightings, so let's hope luck is on your side. You will return to the Lodge after dark. Dinner

Day 2 & 3
Your days start with an early morning wake up call, followed by tea/coffee before heading out into the bush on your morning safari. A well deserved breakfast will be waiting for you back at the Lodge. The rest of the day is yours to relax by the pool or to sit on the veiwing deck and watch the African bush go by. Lunch and then afternoon tea before setting off on your dusk safari, giving you another opportunity to find Rhino, Buffalo, Giraffe, Lion, Elephant and a whole host of antelope. Dinner.

Day 4
After your last game drive and a good breakfast, it's off to the airstrip and back to Johannesburg.
You can fly onto Camp Jabulani for an experience of a lifetime - Elephant back safaris on African Elephants, in Big 5 country!!

Why you should book with us.
We offer guided safaris and tours for small groups and families, often for as few as only two guests. This means guests get a special, private and intimate safari; 2. We focus on personal attention to detail (promising AND providing just that). We are able to stay in one place, veiwing for longer - we are flexible which sets us apart from other companies that must stick to time frames and itineraries.
Most of our tours are owner run and operated, giving you the peace of mind that what you pay for is what you get and more. Service, Safety and value for money are our priority.

What to bring.
It is advisable to bring light bush coloured clothing for during the day but always have something warm available for the evenings, especially in our winters (June to September). A light jacket and long pants for the evenings are however recommended, more so for protection against mosquito bites than insulation. During the summer months the area can experience thunderstorms so a raincoat is advised. Swimming costumes are a must, especially during our summer months. A good sun hat (wide brim recommended), is a definite must. A high factor sunscreen/ sunblock is advised for all times of the year. Other important items to bring along are your sunglasses, comfortable walking shoes, insect repellant (most establishements provide repellents) and all personal toiletries. Comfortable walking shoes are also handy.

Binoculars, cameras and video equippment
is always good to have, however most establishements carry binoculars on their game vehicles and we carry a good pari in our vehicle, so don't stress if you don't have a pair of your own. Make sure you have all the necessary chargers/batteries and lots of film as some locations do not have well equipped shops, should you forget! A good flash light is also a good peice of equipment to have.

Malaria
The Kruger area is a malaria area so it is advisable to take the necessary precautions, however, it is usually cheaper to buy them once in the country, if you have a day to spare in a town/city where there is a good chemist - they are much cheaper here in South Africa.
