I T I N E R A R Y
Day 1. Nairobi-Arusha-Ngorongoro Crater
Arrival at Arusha either by Nairobi - Arusha Shuttle bus that departs from Nairobi at 0800hrs and arrives in Arusha at 1300hrs for lunch. Immediately after lunch at app 14:00 Drive to Ngorongoro Crater for dinner and overnight at The Wildlife Lodge.
Day 2. Ngorongoro Crater
08:00hrs descend down the walls of The crater for a 1/2 day tour with picnic lunches. It is a thrilling experience to descend down and out of the narrow and steep crater walls of 670 metres depth, which has earned this crater, also the largest in the world the title ‘’the eight wonder in the world’’. Flamingos can be seen seasonally in the Crater Lake, depending on the water level as these birds only breed in shallow water. Many animals, which have made this crater their permanent home, can be seen on the crater floor. Picnic on the crater floor. Dinner and overnight at the Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge.
Day 3. Ngorongoro Crater-Lake Manyara
09:00 leave after breakfast for Lake Manyara National Park. Enjoy the scenic view of the drive to Lake Manyara whereby you will arrive for lunch at the Lodge approximately 1300hrs. 15:00hrs an afternoon game drive in Manyara Park is provided by our driver guide. Major attraction is the tree-climbing lion species. The park though small, boasts a diverse terrain. The vast vegetation comprises of groundwater forest, open grassland, swamp and acacia woodland with giant mahogany and fig trees. The park is home to a wide variety of mammals and birds. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Hotel.
Day 4. LakeManyara-Arusha
09:00 Drive back to Arusha after a delicious breakfast. Depart at 12' noon for Arusha to enjoy a lunch at Impala Hotel/Mt.Meru Novotel.
