Day 1: Nairobi - Masai Mara
Approximately 0900-0930hrs, we shall pick you up from your Nairobi hotel and thereafter depart for Masai Mara Game Reserve via the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley, lunch enroute at Narok, famous Masai town. Arrive in time for an evening game drive in this considerably ‘big game country’. You will be driven later to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Masai Mara
This will be a day, after breakfast 0800-0830hrs of tracking game accompanied by your driver cum guide. The Mara’s landscape is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills and vast plains, which ensures that the reserve attracts ample rainfall to maintain and support a large concentration and population of herbivores, and predators that follow. Elephant, lion, buffalo, black rhino, leopard, cheetah, jackal, warthog, zebra and Masai giraffe abound as well as hippos and a wide variety of antelopc an be seen with relative ease though luck is a necessary factor for spotting big five as most species especially BIG 5 are timid and sparsely numbered. Plains game like wildebeest including impala, dik dik, hartebeest, Grant’s & Thompson's gazelle among other wildlife and bird species. Enjoy your picnic lunch at the hippo pool whereby crocodiles lazily lie on the banks of Mara River. In the evening, return to the campsite for dinner and overnight. (This is a day that you can enjoy night entertainment with Masai moran songs and dances at an extra price).

Day 3: Masai Mara
A hot cup of coffee/tea at app 0630hrs, join in tracking game with your driver guide in this reserve which borders Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park and is the annual seasonal scene of the migration of close to 800,000 zebra and wildebeest that occurs between the two parks. You will return for breakfast and Lunch at the campsite. In the afternoon 1400-1800hrs there is a choice between another game drive and a nature walk escorted by our armed Masai guides. At extra cost you may visit a local Masai village to see their nomadic lifestyle; the Masai are famous for their bravery, as they have co-existed with the animals over the years with daily challenges . All meals and overnight back at the campsite.

Day 4: Masai Mara - Lake Nakuru
After breakfast 0800-0830hrs, leave Masai Mara for Lake Nakuru with a stop for lunch enroute, with scenic views of Lake Naivasha and Mt. Longonot, which are in the Great Rift from afar on the main highway. 1530-1600hrs game drive will follow in Lake Nakuru National Park, the abode of various water birds that breed in the lake’s salty water including flamingos, white pelicans and marabou stork; white rhino may be seen as well as the rare Rothschild’s giraffe, cape buffalo and other plains game in this park that is 188 square kilometres. Dinner and overnight at the camp/local budget Hotel.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru - Samburu
After breakfast 0800hrs, leave for Samburu Game Reserve via the Thompson Falls, which are named after Joseph Thompson, one of the first European explorers who walked from Mombasa to Lake Victoria in the 1880’s and famous central african market, Karatina. Enjoy a change of scenery and weather from central highlands of ount Kenya to semi arid Samburu. You will cross the equator line too and welcome to a whole new world. Lunch at Nanyuki. You will arrive in Samburu for a short game drive en-route. Dinner and overnight at campsite.

Day 6: Samburu
Morning and afternoon game-viewing sessions 0630-1000hrs & 1600-1830hrs tracking the rare, drought resistant animals species which can only be seen north of the equator; these are: the reticulated giraffe (with white feet), grevy’s zebra (finer stripes), the gerenuk or giraffe-gazelle (neck of a giraffe and body of the antelope), Beisa Oryx (most beautiful antelope) and the blue shanked Somali ostrich (blue in color).. The Ewaso Nyiro River traverses this park, it’s source being the Aberdare ranges. Great chances of spotting crocodile in a natural environment though Ewaso Nyiro River water level varies seasonally. You will have a lunch and leisure break in the mid afternoon. Rest of meals and overnight at the campsite.
This park cannot guarantee full day game drives due to the scorching heat over 35-40 Degrees

Day 7: Samburu - Nairobi
