TANZANIA WILDLIFE SAFARI, VISIT LOCAL CHURCHES AND VISIT WOMEN’S PROJECTS.

ITINERARY:

Day 1: ARRIVAL DAY:-
-On your arrival, meet with our representative at the Airport, then transferred to your hotel in Arusha(WCT Lodge)for your overnight. HB

Day 2 & 3: VIST OSOTWA COMMUNITY BASED CONSERVATION ORGANIZATION.
- The Osotwa Mt. Meru Community based Conservation Organization is alegally registered charitable non-political, non-partisan andnon-governmental organization based in Arusha-Tanzania, established in2001. It is dedicated to addressing environmental issues and ensuresecological sustainable development and proper use of natural resourceswhile promoting justifiable economic and social development of theindigenous populations on the slopes of Mt. Meru.The Osotwa Mt. Meru CBCOcooperates with other community development groups and/or organizations tomeet the developmental needs of the poor communities around Mt. Meru.Furthermore, equitable gender development through environmental andeconomic empowerment for women is a priority for the association. Activities,

Day 4: VISIT MULALA WOMENS'S PROJECT:
- The women have created their projects to support their families and topreserve their culture. Cheese, butter-making, bread and banana wine-making are common economic activities practice by the local women. Thereis also a small shop where you can buy their products. Lemeka Hill is hometo numerous coffee and banana farms. A visit to Mulala will give you ainsight into the daily life of Meru farmers and a understanding of howthese indigenous people live. You can visit all the farms of the fivewomen in the women’s group. The women will explain about their farmingmethods and show you various economic activities they have started.Spectacular views of both Mt. Meru and Mt. Kilimanjaro are available onclear daysDinner and overnight at WCT Lodge/Mulala FB.

Day 5: VISIT LOCAL CHURCHES:
-Attend morning Sunday Service at West Meru (Village) or FPCT Kimahama(City). After Lunch you will Visit Historical Nominal Church in Meru area.(Akeri) Akeri is located at the base of mount meru. About July-August 1896the first Germany missionaries in meru (Ewald Ovir and Karl Segebrock)visited this area. These missionaries were sent to Africa by Missionariesassociation of Leipzig. On 20th of October, these missionaries were killedby Moran (meru/waarusha) Warriors. These missionaries were burred at Akeriwhere Akeri Lutheran church was built. History’s lecture will be providedfor those decided to visit this place. Come and visit this place. Dinnerand overnight at WCT Lodge. FB

Day 6: BRIEF VISIT TO CHURCH RELATED ACTIVITIES/MINISTRIES:
-After breakfast, visit:- Ministry to Youth and Students (New Life Band)- Christian Literature Ministry- Information about Sport Ministry After Lunch visit:- Visit Christian Radio Ministry- Visit Christian Printing Press- Visit Ministry to the Blind PeopleDinner and overnight at WCT Lodge. FB

Day 7: ARUSHA TO MANYARA:
- After breakfast, transferred to Lake Manyara National Parks for a full day game viewing. Dinner and overnight at Manyara, Camping. FB

Day 8: LAKE EYASI
-Wake up early for a pre-sunrise breakfast. Drive from the camp for approx.20 minutes to locate the nomadic Bushmen (Hadzabe). In the company of thebushmen, you will hunt on foot using traditional weapons i.e. bows andarrows. The Bushmen are related to the Kalahari Bushmen of South Africa.They speak the same click language but do not understand each other, asthey have been apart for very long.The Bushmen live a medieval kind of life style. They do not buildpermanent homes but follow the animals in the area as they trap and killthem for food. They are hunters and gatherers.After a brief hunting stint with the Bushmen, we go back to our vehiclesand drive to the camp for a lunch.After a short afternoon siesta, we depart the camp at 04:30P and drive tolake Eyasi to view flamingoes enjoy the sunset over the Rift ValleyEscarpment. Overnight at Lake Eyasi Camp FB

Day 9: NGORONGORO
-You break camp at Lake Eyasi after breakfast and drive to Ngorongoro forDinner and overnight at Camp on the Ngorongoro crater rim. FB

Day 10: NGORONGORO CRATER
-After early breakfast, with picnic lunch descend to the Crater floor forgame drive, a full day crater tour. In the evening drive to Karatu foryour overnight at Moiyo Camp. FB

Day 11: ARUSHA
- After breakfast drive back to Arusha arrive at Lunch time.
