We will spend 9 days covering 4 game parks, all designed to enhance your safari and your chances of seeing these animals as well as all the other creatures of the African bush.
Day 1
We depart Johannesburg, for the Timbavati, where we will spend the next four nights in a private game lodge. Here we will enjoy two game drives in open safari vehicles that will venture off road to get you up close and personal with these animals. You will also have the chance to do some bush walks in between the game drives.
Day 5
We depart from the Timbavati and make our way down into the heart of the Public sector of the Kruger National Park. Here we will spend one night and two game drives.
Day 6
We head down through Swaziland and into KwaZulu-Natal where we will spend the next night on the banks of the Pongola dam in a great private lodge. One of the great experiences here will be a game cruise on the dam, where we will pick up Hippo and Crocodile amongst others.
Day 7 & 8
We move to Hluhluwe Unfolozi Game Reserve, which is the oldest in game park in South Africa. We will stay in the heart of the park and enjoy two game drives per day.
On day 9
We end the tour in Durban where we will be happy to drop you off at the airport or at a hotel of your choice.
Birding can be incorporated into this tour. We have one of the countries best bird guides (one of six), available to do this tour for you should you be a keen birder. Please feel free to request a list of special birds we could find for you on this tour.
We specialize in single booking tours which means that the vehicle will be yours for the trip and we will not try and fill up the seats. This means that the tour can start on your preferred date and can be modified to suit your length of stay.
All the tours we offer are perfectly suited to be the ideal family holiday. As we do not mix groups together you don’t have to worry about loud or over active children getting in the way of anybody else. Our guides understand that tours with children need to be handled a little differently! On request we can even provide car seats and booster seats for very young children.
