DAY 1
Arrival in Bamako and transfer to hotel.

DAY 2
Morning visit of city with its market, Museum, etc. After lunch, departure to Segou. across Bambara-Minianka-Bobo villages.

DAY 3
Early morning departure to Djenné, the Queen of the Delta, and visit of the city and market (historic market on Mondays only). Continuation to Mopti.

DAYS 4 to 7
After a morning visit the town with its colourful market on the riverbanks, in the afternoon departure by pinasse towards Timbuktu. Navigation along the Niger River with stops at Sonrai, Bozo and Peulh villages.

DAY 8
Arrival at Korioumé, Timbuktu port, and transfer by vehicle to town. Meet with the Tuareg guide and visit of the “mysterious” city. In the late afternoon camel ride to a nearby Tuareg settlement.

DAY 9
After breakfast transfer to the airport for the domestic flight to Mopti and continuation by minibus to Douentza.

DAY 10
Departure by vehicle to Hombori through the "Monument Valley of Mali". After “Fatima's Hand" Mountain, the old town of Hombori where we walk to the pink dune overlooking the village.

DAY 11
Departure by 4WD to the Dogon country along the escarpment. Arrival at Banani and visit of its 3 villages.

DAY 12
Full day excursion on foot - accompanied by a Dogon guide and porters – towards Tireli across some of the most spectacular villages of the escarpment.

DAY 13
After breakfast hike up to Bongo (approx 1.5 hrs) and visit of Sangha. After lunch departure to Bandiagara where it is possible to visit the Center for Traditional Medicine set up by Italian psychiatrist Piero Coppo.

DAY 14
Departure by vehicle to Ségou; on the way, stop at the Bobo village of Togo.

After breakfast continuation to Bamako. Free afternoon for the last shopping. In the evening transfer to the airport.
