DAY 1 - Friday
Upon arrival at the Libreville airport, meet and assistance and transfer to Tropicana hotel . Breakfast and day use room. Evening transfer to the train station for a departure at 21H30 to Lope National Park , arrival at 02H00. Transfer to the Lopé hotel.
DAY 2 - Saturday
In the morning, rest and relax near the swimming pool
PM :excursion in the savannas by 4 wheel drive car looking for elephants, buffalos, red river hogs, antelopes such as sitatunga or yellow back duiker.
DAY 3 - Sunday
Game drive in the morning. Afternoon forest safari tracking the small forest animals and watching the flora.
DAY 4 - Monday
Transfer to Mikongo camp at 8h00 from the hotel by 4 wheel drive car (1h30). Mikongo, deep in the forest, it is a research centre for primate studies. Briefing about forest walks and environment. After lunch walk in the forest looking for chimpanzees, black colobus, gorillas if lucky, and other forest mammals, monkeys and birds.
DAY 5 - Tuesday
Complete day walk in forest.
DAY 6 - Wednesday
Walk in the morning . Lunch and transfer to Lope hotel . Overnight.
DAY 7 - Thursday
In the morning , excursion with dugout canoe on the river to visit an important archaeological site of rock engravings. After lunch train back to Libreville at 14H00 arriving at 19H00, then transfer to the Tropicana hotel (bed and breakfast)
DAY 8 - Friday
At 9H00 transfer by boat to Ekwata village in the Pongara National Park for a relaxing day on the beach . Back to Libreville at the end of the afternoon and transfer to the airport for your international flight.
