Typical Safari Days
You are privately guided in an open-sided game viewing vehicle (the vehicle in the picture in this mail), your game drives are exceptional in that your guide is able to interpret the behaviour, the ecology and relationships of and between all the animals, vegetation and landscapes you see during your game drives with him. His accreditations and qualifications as a field guide and trails ranger are exemplary, and coupled with 15 years of experience in the Kruger make your time with him a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Big 5 sightings of elephant, rhino, lion, leopard and African buffalo are just as rewarding as all the aspects of being in the African bush in amongst the 148 mammal species, over 500 birds, 350 tree species and a huge diversity of landscapes and eco-zones. It’s our ability to interpret this amazing diversity of wildlife, of cultural and historical influences, as well as unravel the ecological secrets and mysteries that make Africa so special that makes us leaders in private guiding in the Kruger National Park.

Kruger nights are wonderful - the southern skies play host to the nocturnal calls of hyenas, jackals, baboons and lion all while you enjoy once-in-a-lifetime moments in the African bush.

Two game drives every day - no schedule for the length or diversity of the game drives except your needs, and what the bush delivers.

On one your nights with us we organise a nocturnal drive (night drive) with spotlights – in order to get out in the dark which presents wonderful opportunities to look at the glorious star-filled skies, and some of the more secretive animals like wild cats, porcupines, owls, African civet and other nocturnal animals.

Accommodation on your full service safari

A private bushveld lodge ideally situated in the central Kruger NP. Our drives and activities include several dams, open savanna and thorn thickets with some amazing riverbeds and pools to explore. Elephants, lion and buffalo are prolific in this area as well as the endangered cheetah.

An ideal lodge positioned to photograph the wildlife in open savanna, and often includes remarkable sights of hunting predators, large herds of buffalo and elephants aggregating around water holes.

Your accommodation consists of either a two bedroom en-suite chalet, or a one bedroom en-suite chalet. They are fully serviced, with full bathrooms and an outside patio - all under beautiful thatched roofs and very comfortable. All our guests enjoy private en-suite accommodation.

Meals on your full service safari

Your guide is accompanied by his hospitality chef on safari who spends his day preparing your meals, ensuring that all beverages, table settings and mood fires are lit, cooked and ready to present the other important part of a successful safari – your meals. Together they make an exceptional team providing guiding and hospitality service that is unmatched in South Africa.

Meals include an early morning breakfast (before your first game drive)

A full breakfast (after your first game drive)

A light lunch

Dinner – mostly cooked outdoors, over an open fire

(All local beer, South African wine, bottled water and fresh juice is provided and included in your quoted price on this full service itinerary)

Nothing is too much trouble on this safari – and we start preparing menus long before your trip is set to start. We carefully plan all meals to ensure that you get to eat the type of food that you enjoy.

Game viewing is almost always dependent on what’s happening in the bush.

A pride of lions on a kill, or watching buffalo interaction, or elephants, even simply exploring the diversity of this great wildlife reserve, means that we are well aware that mealtimes must be dynamic. So we always keep snacks and cold drinks on board in the vehicle, just in case.

VALUE STATEMENT

Your private ranger/guide

Neil’s commitment to the conservation and protection of the Kruger National Park is reflected in his personal qualifications, passion and hospitality on safari. Neil’s take on ‘endangered spaces’ and the role of National reserves and their function in South Africa is inspiring, and his personal ethic, professionalism and leadership allow safe and complete game viewing and interpretations of the landscape, history, culture and ecological diversity of the Kruger.

Our safaris are conducted within the Kruger National Park – we do not operate in private reserves or lodges that still require access to this world-famous wildlife reserve in order to show off its unbelievable space, size and diversity.

Game viewing – on foot and in the vehicle

Our standard of safety, professionalism and hospitality has matured over the past ten years to form a unique and complete ‘once-in-a-lifetime experience of ‘being in the African bush’ and sharing in its secrets, lessons and adventure.

Full service – catering, entertainment, luggage handling and FIT on the ground organization

We pride ourselves on our ability to draw the lines between package tours and personal safaris. Our commitment to you is that you enjoy the benefits of 24 hour personal attention and service from your guide, his hospitality chef, and support staff.

Logistics, planning and travel assistance pre-safari

Our communication with you, our availability and range of planning assistance, and our associations with like-minded tourist support services are specifically designed to provide you with the tools you need to travel safely to South Africa, and always end up with the right people should you decide to include other tours, venues, and travel plans in your Kruger safari with us.

Accreditations, testimonials, qualifications, bonded insurance and legal operations

We operate as a fully licensed tour operator, and enjoy the comforts of having all current South African legal licenses and qualifications. Our previous guest testimonials and SATSA (South African Tourism Services Association) membership ensures our commitment to professional and legal service standards.

Small group FIT and attention to detail

We operate as a small group, independent Kruger specialist in order to bond our reputation for quality and attention to detail with limited environmental impact.
