Day 5 - Visit Cango Caves - a Guided 1hr tour through the caves. - Cross the Outeniqua Pass to George. - Take the route via Wilderness, Sedgefield and Goukamma to Knysna and encompasses some of the most spectacular scenery in South Africa in the heart of the Garden Route lake district. The section from Victoria Bay along the Cliffside and over the Kaaiman’s River via the pass to Wilderness is the highlight of the journey. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch Overnight: Knysna Log-Inn
Day 6 - Knysna Featherbed Experience - Cruise the Knysna lagoon to the isolated Featherbed Nature Reserve. Board a 4x4 tractor and trailor which take you through the forest to the famous Knysna Heads. Walk back along the cliffs, caves and forests to enjoy lunch in the unique outdoor restaurant. - Walk with Elephants at the Knysna Elephant Park - touch, feel and learn about these ancient animals. - Drive awesome passes of Grootrivier (Big River) and Bloukrans (Blue Cliffs) to the Tsitsikamma National Park. Walk the small paths in coastal forest to Storms River Mouth. Day 7 - Tour via the Eastern Cape Country side – land of the Xhosa and birth place of Nelson Mandela - Overnight Country Hotel/ Guest House is at one of the Wild Coast coastal villages. - Late afternoon spend at leisure or a short trip to view the “Hole In The Wall” rock formations. - Dinner at the hotel. Day 9 - Sani Pass Tour (Full Day): A 4x4 adventure into a different world - the land of the People of the Blanket. Starting at 1540m above sea level you will follow the deep valley incised by the Mkhomazana River to breast the summit at 2873m - with almost 1000m climbed in the last 8km of your trip in our 4x4 vehicles. Day 10 - Phezulu village. - Zulu culture. - The Zulu dancing show is impressive with the dancers in their traditional garb - The show is followed by lunch(own account) - Ushaka Marine World - underwater “shipwreck” aquarium, dolphin shows, sun bathing or swimming at the beach, curio shops. - A drive through Tour of Durban City ends this day. - Dinner is for own account at one of the local restaurants. Day 11 - Travel via Valley Of Thousand Hills and Durban to the north coast of Kwazulu Natal. - Visit Pongola Game Reserve: The area is home to many typical plains game species, elephant, rhino, buffalo, leopard, hippo and crocodile. It is also a birding "hotspot". Over 350 species have so far been recorded here. - Sunset Cruise on Lake Pongola – enjoy your favourite sundowner while on this water safari.
