Experience, view, taste and take pictures... feel the wind at Cape Point, make a wish at Cape of Good Hope, smile at the Penguin and Seal colonies, take the cable way up Table Mountain, eat fresh Sea Food, learn about wines during the Wine Tasting, stand at the most southern tip of Africa at Agullas, ride an Ostrich, crawl the Cango Caves, ride a Steam Train, touch the Knysna Elephants, drive remote Mountain Passes and be amazed by the vast plains of the Great Karoo.
During the tour you will be accompanied by a GUIDE that also act as the chauffeur of your spacious air-conditioned touring vehicle. His interpretation of what you see, places you visit, advise on safety and companionship during your tour will make this a sit-back and relax vacation.
Itinerary Highlights:
Day 1
You are picked up from your hotel or Cape Town airport.
- Take the cable way to Table Mountain
- Visit Hout Bay from where we take a cruise on the Atlantic ocean to view the Cape Fur Seal Colony on Seal Island.
- With the sun setting over Robben Island you visit Signal Hill for sundowners.
Meals: Dinner
Overnight: Protea Sea Point or similar
Day 2
- Chapmanspeak drive to Cape Point Nature Reserve - you visit Cape of Good Hope and the Cape Point Lighthouse,
- Drive via Vals Bay and Simons Town to the Penguin colony,
- After lunch you visit the Stellenbosch region for some wine tasting between the vineyards,
- V&A Waterfront - the Cape Town harbour with restaurants, shops and entertainment between the yacht, tug-boats and commercial quays
Meals: Breakfast (Dinner tonight is for own account at the V&A Waterfront)
Overnight: Protea Sea Point or similar
Day 3
- Travel all along the coast to Hermanus - breeding waters of the Whales.
- Cape Agullas - the MOST SOUTHERN tip of Africa!
- Drive through the Overberg region to Swellendam.
Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
Overnight: Swellendam Guest House
Day 4
- All along the N2 route to George,
- Outeniqua Choo-Choo - you board this old Steam Train and enjoy the 3hr ride through forests, along the coast, crossing rivers and the inland lakes of Wilderness.
- Arriving in Knysna the old steamer drop you at the Knysna Waterfront.
- Visit the Knysna Heads with amazing view of the ocean and the lakes.
Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
Overnight: Protea Keurbooms or similar
Day 5
- Knysna Elephant Park. Up close to these forest giants. Touch and feed the elephants and take that famous picture.
- Visit Natures Valley and Tsitsikamma National Park. Walk through coastal forests to the Storms River Mouth with suspension bridge.
Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

Day 6
- Travelling "the roads less travelled" - Prince Alfred Pass, Uniondale Poort, Meirings Poort and lastly the famous Swartberg Pass.
- Visit a working Ostrich Farm - Feed touch and ride the ostriches!

Overnight: Oudtshoorn Guest House
Day 7
- Cango Caves - Guided tour in this 2million year old natural wonder.
- Back to Cape Town via the Tradouws and Sir Lowreys passes.
- Arrive Cape Town late afternoon.
