This semi-participation mobile safari is in the newly created Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park between South Africa and Botswana, plus optional safaris to Namibia, Botswana and South Africa. |
Mobile Safari options to Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park can be optionally extended or altered to include Botswana, Central Kalahari Game Reserve, South Africa, Namaqualand and Richtersvelt or Namibia ,Fish River Canyon. Please enquire Day 1. ex Johannesburg. Drive to over night camp at Augrabies Falls or Kuruman in North West Province of South Africa. Day 2. Continue to Twee Rivieren. Overnight camp in formal campsite on edge of Kalahari Desert. Days 3-7. Bush camp for four nights at different camp sites in the solitude of the Transfrontier Park. Expect to see red mained kalahari lion, jackal, and gemsbok. Day 8. Heading east into Botswana stop over at Mabuesehube Park, where indigenous brown hyena live. Days 9+10. Cross the remote Kalahari, towards Khutse Game Reserve, Day 11. Return to Johannesburg Disclaimer Whereas the Tpour Operator presents this itinerary in good faith, it is in the nature of a safari that for reasons beyond its control, not all aspects of a itinerary may be available at the time the safari takes place. In this instance, the Operator will at its discretion replace certain items, venues or routes with those of a similar or equal nature. A word about this safari. This safari is run on a semi-participation basis. That is to say a driver guide will accompany you, who will also do the cooking and serve meals. It is expected that clients will erect and take down their own tents and generally lend a hand with camp chores etc. Cost. The above itinerary of 10 nights will cost Euro 1,495 per person for a minimum of four people travelling together. The price includes -transport as indicated above, in modern air-conditioned bush vehicles. -use of camping equipment, tents etc. -food and beverages with three meals per day -camping and entry fees to National Parks. -game drives in our vehicle. The price excludes -airfares and transportation to and from start and end points -visas and other governmental levies -sleeping bags, linen and towels -extra and optional activities not specifically included -alcohol and other drinks -gratuities and tips NOTE: Due to the uncertainty of world oil prices and recent extreme increases, we may unfortunately have to impose a fuel levy in addition to the above price. Any such levies will be calculated and advised to clients at the time of each enquiry.
